Unfortunately, I have to wait for her to post my story again. No I have NOT replied to any of her or her Beta’s PM’s. But I have saved each and everyone of them.

Hi i just wanted to let you know i am sorry if i sounded rude to you the last name it was not my attention to be rude to you or anyone else even cause trouble. I hope through time you can forgive me since I apologized on my profile and in time we can become friends as well. I admitted I know very little about Godric I only know more about the others of true blood. Most of my stories are like drabble chapter based unless I take time and hours to write them really long. I am trying to clear my name through the mud and from advice from others one of these days be a prolific writer like you and others who I am a fan of someday. I really hope you can forgive me for my mistake and also others who are your friends forgive me as well. I really hope someday you and the others can become my friends.

……..I am tired of people who are jealous of me and my stories and bringing haters by posting my profile on theirs for their mistakes of copying off each other and blaming new authors like myself for their mistakes. It takes one to know one and I point at anyone who bad mouths me and my stories and how I am a bad author to the ones who started it first I certainly didn’t but I know a few others who plagerize each others works and blame it on others. you know who you are stop bad mouthing me my stories and my writing for the things I come up with. If you do not like any of my stories and how I wrote them then leave my profile alone and quit complaining to me in my reviews for certain authors blaming me even if they plagerize each other. My stories will stay on here quite having my profile and blaming me as the guilty party. When really you all should be ashamed of yourselves. And are jealous of me and take it out on me. I will be working on my two stories that are upcoming and will post them in October. As well working on the pairing stories and will post them soon for the people who ask for me to do pairings for them.
Okay, I have apologized to Harleen and others and she is becoming my friend and I have apologized to Kittyinaz, Cuinawen, and Bertie Bott my beta is helping me fix the plots to my stories. And she is also friends with these authors. I do not want anymore people complaining to me about my stories I have written them and my beta GoddessxNyte is fixing the plots for me. I will repost the Godric/Bella one and the first chapter to the Spike/Bella one as well the remade version of Iron Man and his love. But the remade version of Iron Man and his love will be posted in October as well, with the new Joker/Bella one and Captain America Steve Rogers/Bella one as well in October. As for my pairing request stories they will be posted soon.

I am NOT nor will I ever become a friend to someone like this. I don’t think she would understand what it would mean to be a friend, which to me is to support my friends. She cannot accept she is wrong and that has lost me any respect.

I’m a big fan of yours but you probably haven’t heard from me before because I’m kind of a lurker. I have been diligently following your posts on this plagiarism issue and felt I had to say something to offer my support, and my sincerest sympathies.
Frankly, I’m getting tired of this plagiarism shit. As a writer I know how much work and dedication goes into writing a story. I think it’s outrageous that someone comes along and thinks they can get away with stealing your work without facing repercussions.
They say ‘Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’ but I just can’t see that. Not in this case anyway. That whole affair with Pretty Kitty made me sick to my stomach. I couldn’t help but imagine how powerless the author must have felt. There was someone out there who was making profit from her hard work. That’s completely unacceptable.
I’ve read thousands of fanfictions, and sure, there were times where I went like ‘damn, wish I would have thought of that’, but that doesn’t mean I went and ripped off the hard-working author. That’s just wrong.
What’s even worse in my opinion, that she completely raped it and wrote it in a way that made me cringe while reading. If I were you, I’d feel violated. I mean, that’s your story, your work. That’s time you put in there you could have spent with your kids (if you have any) or hell, I don’t know, your dogs.
I think maybe the worst thing here is how she keeps denying it, and then has the audacity to accuse you of being a liar and a mud slinger, only to turn around and somehow have the nerve to ask you to be her friend. Why would anyone want to be friends with such a person? I imagine for you it would be like befriending the person who robbed you. That’s insane.
As for her beta… Well I’d advise her to break off all connections with this unrepentant thief. With the amount of work she seems to be doing to try to make something readable from an unmitigated disaster she’d be better off writing her own story.
I hope this all works out for you, and that she stops stealing your work. I honestly would feel better if she was banned from ever writing fanfiction (or just writing in general, really) again.

Hi! I’m kind of a lurker myself in that I don’t comment 99.9% of the time. As an artist I understand the pain of having work stolen an used by others. My high school art teacher did this, a lot. I Have good news though! I went to leave my two cents on the reviews of said thieves “work” and discovered that every story that had “on hold” in the title was not accessible. They came up not found. For some odd reason my web browser is showing the links as still there.
I have admired all of your talented work over the years to the point you even made me love a fandom I detested (twilight). I hope this end quickly and you can get back to doing what you love.
Geepers. I think that the writer is either quite young. Having a form of communication with someone does not automatically mean you are becoming friends. Although that is a common misconception we usually have when we are young.

I am so sorry you have to go through this:( I don’t understand how anybody could feel good about themselves, or feel as if they have accomplished something when they stole another person’s hard work. You are an awesome writer along with several other of my favorite fanfics, nobody can justify taking credit for your thought and creativity process. I hope this doesn’t deter you from continuing to write because there would be a lot of sad faces:(:( Keep your spirits up, and do not let talentless thieves get you down:):)!!

1) Apologising is nice but you still need to stop doing what is wrong otherwise the apology is void
2) She keeps talking about fixing ‘my stories’ – she is missing the point that when you plagiarise the stories do not become yours. They are stolen work that belongs to their rightful owners, those who actually created them. No matter how much you or any beta fiddles with them they do not become yours just because there are less words in common with the original work
3) If you don’t want complaints, take down the stories that you stole and start writing genuinely your stories
Someone with this lack of understanding about what plagiarism is after all this debacle (or who is disingenuous enough to pretend to misunderstand) should be banned from fanfic.net or any self-respecting site
I was just sifting through all the plagiarism posts/comments, etc. I’m so sorry you (and other ff writers) have had to go through this, as you each have given so much time, effort and love to your creations.
I find it incredibly naive and self serving of her to place the blame on “health issues.” If that’s a forgivable excuse, everyone with a medical condition should feel free to plagiarize Faulkner, Twain, Dumas, Grisham, King, Christie, Asimov, Capote, et al.
I took a quick look at a few of bellaeric27’s stories — and regardless of the plagiarism issue — she can’t write. At all. There is no style to her writing and barely a nodding acquaintance with grammar. Hard to believe any of it was beta’d — it had to have been scary bad before editing.
I can’t imagine any reader getting through more than a few sentences of any of her stories before they realize that was 30 seconds of their life that they can’t get back. So, the silver lining in this fiasco is that there are probably very few people reading any of her stories beyond a paragraph or two, which hopefully will help to contain the problem if she’s stubborn about taking down all the stolen ones.

Brava! I applaud your being so proactive in attempts to stop the scourge of plagiarism throughout the world of Fan Fiction! This has become a rapidly ongoing crime. Plagiarism is theft; when you look up the definition, there’s a line to left that says, “See theft.” As you pointed out, it is a gray area at the present time, and there are no current laws in place – anywhere – to protect FF writers from this crime. In helping another writer with this same issue, I had the opportunity to discuss the matter with a copyright attorney. All FF writers are in one way or another committing plagiarism; however, when you add the disclaimer that the characters, et al, don’t belong to you and to whom they belong, you’re acknowledging that your story is one that’s based on what you would like. That disclaimer protects you from charges of plagiarism and copyright infringement. The main point to make in that disclaimer is that your story is NOT for profit. According to this attorney (and two others who were not copyright attorneys), FF writers currently have no legal recourse, despite what FF is claiming about derivatives, if they are plagiarized and their work is then used for profit. The only ones who do are those with the copyrights, i.e. the author and/or whomever owns those rights or a portion of those rights including promotional and marketing. When you are plagiarized and it’s just plain-out theft used as someone else’s story, again, to date there is no law on file to protect you. The derivatives that FF.net mentions protect them from being named as complicit in the act. Nevertheless, the form provided is a great tool for protecting one’s self against these thieves. It serves to alert them that the site has acknowledged that there is originating Fan Fiction author for the story, there is supporting evidence, and that the plagiarist is being named as such. This form would stop the personal attacks that are not necessary, and allow the site to handle the situation in an expedient manner. Laws change n the blink of an eye. By Monday afternoon, this could be set in stone and FF writers would then have standing in a civil court to sue the plagiarist.
It truly disgusts me that people do this, but I’ve come to expect that where there is so much goodness in others, there will be also be the toxic ones who do what they do and poison things for others. I’m especially sickened that someone would do this to a person like you! You are always so warm, welcoming, and helpful to others. I’ve never read a cross word directed at a reader on your blog. Your kindness is well known throughout this fandom and for this to happen to you and the others is really just enough! This young woman now posts that she hasn’t done anything wrong?
I suppose she may just really believe that given what she’s “written.” If her stories appearances are anything resembling the above excerpts and have been beta’d, how is it that anyone is able to read or make sense of them?
