First, Happy Holidays to everyone that is here. Since I am literally am over the world, I wish to let you know you have my good wishes for the season. As the darkest night of the year approaches, I hope your world is full of light, love and happiness.
Merry Christmas to those that celebrate it, as well as a Happy New Year from the Kittyinaz family. (including the pets!)
Now to what you are devouring this post for.
Yep, I finally finished the Clocks chapter!
I became smart yesterday and stopped trying to get it all done. However, I do have to mention that everything I did yesterday made today such a simple day to get through. So simple, I am starting the washing sooner.
I have a checklist and as soon as I finish the wrapping, I am ahead for the week.
WOO HOOO!!!
My desk is getting cleaned off, and I only have to figure out how the MIFI turns on (as in activate it. Long story). I have everything pulled out that needs to be wrapped for now. I will be heading into the garage to grab the wrapping boxes… as well as the boxes for me to figure out how to wrap one unwieldy package. And to grab the luggage to frebreeze the shit out of it.
You guys get this last chapter courtesy of a few wonderful ladies. The first is the beta. She reminds me of things like how I have Bella sleeping the day, and though I would call it night and day (though it is flipped. the life of an insomniac that names the time you get up as morning, no matter what time of day it is!) that I needed to either put marks on it, or name it correctly.
Also. Since the Revelation seemed to have happened on the millennium change over, I looked for hotels that were torn down that year. And lo and behold, the Wynn is one of the hotels that appeared in place of the older ones, specifically the Desert Inn. Now, I never saw the Desert Inn, but I did play in the Frontier before it was torn down, as well as the original Strip. (aka Fremont Street). It was smokey as hell. Though the D.I. (see article associated with the picture) was updated, I would expect that the smell of smoking would linger. Especially to vampire noses.
Yes, I really do research the hell out of things. And no, a casino cannot be built in a month, but hey, money talks and it is my story. MamaKitty wanted me to mention that it could not be done in real life when I told her about the story. You can build many things in a month, but something for the public has so many safety checks it aint funny.
I picked the Wynn, specifically since it has a huge amount of land involved, that will allow Eric’s vision to be done. Don’t get me wrong, the Wynn was one of my favorites there. I loved the whole idea behind it. But when you have Eric demanding in your head for his hotel to be there, you have to listen.
Reminders:
Amazon. You are reminded. LOL!
Christmas contest. It is ending on the 15th. Make sure your votes are in. If you have a second favorite, you might want to give them a shot. Honor system going on right now, but you can vote for your second favorite now. Let your voice be heard!
While I may be on a metered connection, I usually use it to be online on Facebook, and leave this site to 4Padfoot. The only time I visit is to load a chapter to make sure it is backed up on this site as well. So, I am officially handing over control to the site to 4Padfoot. I will be concentrating on relaxing, enjoying my visit with my family in AZ. And hopefully writing. But no promises.
Now I am off to journey to the great storage room of the great beasts that carry me on the roads as well as Connor’s favorite place to break into and to stand at the side of before mentioned beasts in hope of him being allowed to be in one.
Soon, Connor. So very soon…..
Yes, I have the power!!! I have the power!! I won’t let it go to my head now the muses I am not responsible for what they do.
Darn it, the next button doesn’t work !!!! I’m officially hooked on this story. Can’t wait to learn more about the animosity between Eric and his family and “the cold ones”..Obviously two different versions of vampires..Will you be explaining how that came to be?…
I even left a message on the button if you hover over it… LOL!
