In the Facebook group, I asked a question, and the ladies agreed to it. So Cross the Line is being beta’d and then will be published, without an edit! These will come faster to you, because of this. I have a couple of ladies getting geared up for writing in the Universe, so I am getting excited. I can’t wait to see what happens, and one of the ways to keep it up for you guys to remember, is for me to post in it. When the other ladies are ready for their stories, well if they are a beta on this site, they can post the updates themselves, or I will be posting for the other ladies if they tell me about it. If no one tells, then I have no idea. It’s how the cookie crumbles. But I am looking forward to some of the ideas that are being tossed about!
I am thrilled about this one!! Bertie got the idea after Cuinawen posted in the group a bunch of two sentence horror stories. I love when my group comes up with these things!! And from there, they find inspiration to do contests, or to even write stories!

Third, as many of you may remember, last year this started my bad luck time. My mother found out she had breast cancer. Her cancer is not one you can find by self checking. Luckily, we have a great doctor in our local Breast Cancer screening area (Victory Lakes for anyone in Houston area) and she caught it early. This type is very dangerous since most people don’t get it caught early have to go through chemo and all that jazz. My mom had to have a mastectomy. So please remember to get checked. And if you want, please donate. This is not just affecting woman, it affects men also.
Fourth, I am trying to get back into editing!! I have so many awesome stories, but as many knows, this had been the worst part of the year for me lately. I am actually dreading the end of the year when I used to look forward to it. Last year I dealt with the breast cancer for my mom, and the day she had her surgery, my bio dad died. The year before my Bio dad’s brother died, my maternal grandfather died and my first dog that I owned and raised from a pup died. All within a week. My grandfather had Alzheimer’s and I had taken him out for a ride and had a last memory of him that way. The end of that trip, I got hit with how much he had declined. After that he had to be put into a home, and he died after that. His Alzheimer’s was very advanced we had found out.
The reason I am telling you this? Because as I try to clear my slate, I often have issues with depression. I will get you the chapters as I can, but I wanted to give you guys a heads up. Also, when I am done with the Editing, before I get on those favorites, I am going to push to finish my book. I want to start the new year by sending it out.
I am working on getting everything on my to do list done. I finished the Las Vegas trip last Monday, and will be working on other things also. I am also working on Banners that my friends have asked for. Since they are the ones who give up their time to Beta my stories, making a banner is the least I can do! And it relaxes me when I have those days.
Also!!! My mom, MamaKitty, is doing the Essential Oils. For those that do not know what this is, it is pure oil’s extracted from the plants. Now she swears up and down that this stuff works. She bought me the spearmint since I love that stuff, and I will admit it makes tea tasting so much better, and it seems to be helping my tummy. Last night I had a migraine and it sucked. Nothing was working. I got up since the meds were making me loopy and helping Harleen figure out her WordPress. I figured what the hell, and put a bit of oil on my temples. Lo and Behold, it freaking worked! Peppermint is the ideal one for it, but spearmint is another one for headaches. So, I am letting those of you with issues, please visit the site. I will ask MamaKitty to have something so that any who would like to order can contact her. If you have any issues, my mom ordered the book to figure what can help solve stuff. She uses it to help sleep, and for the headaches and any other things (Since Peppermint seems to clear up a lot of maladies) as well as the other scents. Its all natural, and my family has all started to use it. For me? I will just steal her stuff. And drink my spearmint tea. We are getting the Basil and Oregano oils for cooking. There are some awesome banners for this month’s banners for the group and page. The Facebook Page gets all the notifications, (I share from that page to the groups) and the group is where I hang out. There are teaser threads and they even talked me into posting a story earlier than I thought I would. I also have an interview with Carter to do this month!!!

See what happened, was yesterday am (Like 1:30 am) I took a shower. I usually allow my brain to just surf along, and I will get ideas for stories. Well, I got a huge idea for the Anthem of Angels Universe. See, I have been listening to everyone’s concerns, and its been sitting in the back of my mind, and my muse went to town on it.
She came out with this idea that was what I was trying to think of, but couldn’t articulate it well. Then she took the idea I had written, and tore it all apart, but handed me a well rounded idea. I got out, dried off, and came to my computer, and pounded out 1600 words in a half an hour. Copied and pasted it for the ladies in the group to read as well as the beta team. Then I collapsed in bed finally. (Only to get up and do a Wendy Famous Edit session expanding the one shot to over 3k words!)
The next morning, they were liking the idea. I literally opened up my little universe to every fandom with a reason why, and even presented something to work towards. I took the whole idea and turned it upside down, and to be truthful, gave evil laughter that if you ever talk to me on Facebook, you would know Mugsy….Yes… I was gleeful, since this is what I really wanted, but couldn’t figure it out. I wanted to have everyone to have fun. There is still whatever is written becomes canon. So for example, I made Crowley a wizard from Harry Potter’s world. I changed his background. Now it is Canon in our new universe. It is as easy as that. Nothing is considered canon until it is entered into the universe. So you want Bo Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard to meet Mal Reynolds in Firefly? Sure! You want Crowley to somehow to be all the characters he is in TV? Sure! You want them to be descendants of him? Sounds great! Bella with Damon? Sure! Just remember, once you introduce a character into the universe, they are locked in, so if you like Crowley being all the characters, or the descendants, you need to jump in and write something before someone else takes the idea. But making OC’s to fill in the spots? More than welcome!!! My favorite one would be to have Gabriel (Who is thought to be Loki) meet Loki. Damn.. that deserves another evil Mugsy…

The big rules to remember….No real life people. You can’t have Alexander Skarsgard as himself. But he can be in as Eric or anyone else. (I like him as Caius myself!). If you take an idea from a fanfiction universe, like my own Niall, Hades and such or EricIzMine’s universe, you need to ask. This is not an open platform to steal ideas. This is a platform to allow all of us to play to our hearts content bringing in anything we wish. The other rules are listed on the front page of the universe.
Also, this universe is Rated M. I decided that the universe will be M, and not deal with the hassle of some are, some aren’t. If you enter the universe, you agreed to the terms. End of story.
I am going to be working on the bestiary, since it is the last part I am working on then I can relax and work on my stories for the universe and for regular reading. For those that are wondering, the first chapter of my normal stories is out to the Betas for working on. I really want to finish up the edits, so that is what I will be working on.

I think it can be understood I was not in the mood to deal with much else in my life, and with me having limited internet capabilities, it was a mess. I tried to do the page for Las Vegas, but I found out quickly, that it was eating away at the bytes I had for the Mifi.
When I got it back on Saturday, I dived into making a new universe since my brain wouldn’t leave me alone on it. The new Universe is called Anthem of the Angels, and you can find it here. The idea behind this is new to our fandoms.
To give it some basic ideas, there is another site called Sylum. The writer who invented this universe was upset they killed Speed in CSI:Miami. So she wrote some stories, and turned him into a vampire. And it exploded. They even have a wiki. (look up Sylum Clans and you will find the wiki!) The rules are simple, no real life characters. What is written is canon. You have to ask the writer to write in the arcs, and in the side stories. They have the entire site passcoded, but from what I am being told a lot of that has to do with it being hosted on LiveJournal before. If you are accepted, they give you access to the entire site.
My dream was of a story with Hermione Granger from Harry Potter and Gabriel from Supernatural. It exploded in my mind until I wanted to do a universe idea also. Instead of Vampires, it will be based around Angels. Since we are starting this off, and have the added bonus of knowing ways that Sylum is dealing and dealt with, we have started a Bestiary, A character list, and have plans how to have it all interlinked. Unfortunately, because we are starting this off, whoever picks a character is the one making the original Canon for that character. Rissa is the one in charge of keeping it all Canon, as well as keeping track of who has what.
The reason? Because if what we write is canon, (Nothing but what is written is canon) then if we have 3 Eric’s then which is the canon one for the universe? This is open to ALL fandoms, and OC’s are more than welcome.
For instance, Mommy4Thomas decided she wanted to write Charmed Chris Halliwell, and an OC. With me as Gabriel, we hammered out how the stories can work, and decided that the Whitelighters, council of Elders were the ArchAngels. Therefore making it work.
It is interesting, and I have done little things, like Added in the Bestiary the types Banners, and then for the characters (Severus Snape has inserted himself into my story to make it work better) I am matching the backgrounds of their banners to the bestiary type they are. We have plans, and I would love you all to play in the universe, once we get a few stories in there, I am thinking of figuring out the bad guys. So far, I have a general idea… but want to see what the main people who will start this up think…
In other news, yes the lady who started all the week of woe has pulled down all of the stories. Thanks again. Without you, I don’t think it would have been solved so soon.
