Now here is the good news, my entry was the first three chapters of the story.
Yes, I said first three.
There are 14 total chapters, and as 4Padfoot and I work on loading them, I will let you know when each is published. I am editing the rest, well was until yesterday I gave in and read it in full.
What can I say? I like it!
So, knowing that we will be talking alot today, I will give you the first chapter as we are working on getting them prettied up.

I have had sooo many people ask for this story. It has been with the betas and I am getting the chapters back. Slowly. There are reasons behind this, but I can say that it will be worth it in the end. Remember how I said I don’t like tossing my betas in the deep end? Yeah, circumstances had it happening, but now we got it fixed. We have someone who is being a mentor and saved my ass. Thanks t6james6 and Miss Potter for your work on the chapter.
So this story is the first one I ever completely plotted out the idea. This means it is easier for me to pick up and write anytime. There are 5 chapters written out and waiting for the betas to look over. Due to the fact I am still posting the Chapters of Revelations and Clocks (1 left until I need to write more…I think.) And I am still working on ITE, be kind. We are still doing one post a week.
There are other stories I had ready for betas, and there are reasons why things are still in the holding pen. RL sucks for all of us, and can hit us all.
Good news? 1 completed chapter for ITE, yet another one in the works and getting close to being finished. Unfortunately, there will be another chapter of the current arc I am doing. It is lighthearted fun that our trio needed after the drama and angst from the other ones. It is also helping me get back into writing these three. I won’t be releasing chapters until I am ahead. Remember, I write basically a rough draft, then go back and edit it to add in the details. Then it goes off to the betas.
We had some latecomers to the contest saying they will be turning in their pieces Sunday. I receive all the pieces at one time, so there is no way I can figure out who is who. Once I get them all, I will work on getting them ready for you to read and vote, comment and etc.
Meanwhile, M bought me a present a few weeks ago on Photoshop. It is a book on classes for Photoshop. It has 14 chapters and is obviously self-paced. Since I have it, as well as a WordPress Bible to look over, I am going to work on the lessons, then fit in writing and making banners around it. I already found a technique that will help me in the future. It is outdated (he tried, but he has no idea what is current on Photoshop.) but it is the most updated until the Creative Cloud came out to replace the old PS. I figured that two chapters a day (or more) will be helpful. Some chapters will not do a lot of good, (editing film and so on, but who knows) but some of it I am eager to get my hands on.
So this week will be dedicated to getting through it, as I work on everything else. It will be one less thing sitting on my desk to do. Which will make me a happy little Kittyinaz.
I also only have two more movies to watch through my Marvel marathon. I have watched everything but Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy. Maybe Iron Man 3. I have to check on that one. I have been watching it all on the 3D being amazed by the picture. And falling in love with Loki all over again. My favorite three so far? Hawkeye, Loki, and Bucky. Stark is another one, but nowhere close to the others. Will I be writing on the Avengers? Maybe. After I catch up on other things.

I am still reading it. I am in the parts where I put it down and read something else to come back to it. But heck, I still come back to it! The fact that the story is turning towards Sookie more makes me thrilled for however long it goes on.
We are still working on the site. Just face it as I have, it’s always going to be ongoing. But 4Padfoot is freaking awesome. She improves it all the time. And it leaves me time to do what I like to do. Write and work on PS. I never can say thank you to her, as well as MissRissa81. These two ladies do more than you can ever imagine behind the scenes.
For those of you wondering, Stormy is back to normal, running through the house, bouncing off walls and so on. And then acting normal when I am around. WE had some laughs with her and her cone, but all in all, we are done with that episode in her life. Connor and Murphy are happy to be allowed back in the bedroom and they got their baths today. Exhausted but thrilled Connor. Murphy is just putting up with it since I pay attention to him more when he is clean.

I’ve been telling people for awhile to go watch the video for Sacred for over a month. The reason for this… is that last yesterday I published the first written chapter of this story. And as usual, I leaked it to the Facebook Group.
Why? Because they go the extra little to be a member, and also since they are the one cheering me on when I am down, I like to give them thanks. Seriously, right now the ladies have been trying to figure gifs for me to separate into seasons of True Blood for Alex. (out of a couple hundred we are down to four. Yes… FOUR!) Which that started out because of Chapter 1 of Sacred. I was looking for specific gifs, and found it too hard to find what I am looking for since I had all the gifs for Alex jumbled together.
And for those that know me… That is a huge no-no! I’ve been sorting pics into more folders as time has gone by. Alex’s regular pics are separated now into headshots, upper body and full body. Leighton Meester is the same. Allan Hyde will be next since his are starting to bug me also. Also Damon’s are pretty big files also. And for me, if I can’t place my hands on something quickly, it is time to organize.
I do so much organizing in fact when my mom wants her office to be organized she asks me to come in. I come in while she is working, observing how her current office works, and then last weekend M and I went up with her and redid her office. Again. Yes, I did in fact, did that last year, but circumstances change as they often do, and it caused a need for her to face her door now. Which of course disrupts her entire workplace so she wanted another one just as efficient as the past one. Luckily, this time ,we just had to reorganize it, not the outer offices. Which would have been a lost cause. And she purposely doesn’t allow me into her bosses office, who is an engineer. In other words, he has LAYERS of paper hazardly scattered over every surface including the floor. OMG. My hands twitch at the mess.
At least, before I came in she stayed late to file in her office before I moved a single thing.
Because of the need to organize, you may notice some changes to the main page. I cleaned up the current chapter banners to make them match. I also moved some stories around on the bottom, to allow for the missing one, as well as adding all the new banners. 4Padfoot is more than awesome at all this, but sometimes, RL just gets in the way and we forget that something needs to be updated. Oops. So I sat down and went through it all, added new betas, updated what betas are doing what now. I left the older betas there since they did help me out when I needed it, and hey free advertising for them!
Now we don’t see anything wrong with the Main Page, but feel free to tell us if you notice something wrong. Since 4Padfoot is working on the site this weekend. And let us know about the Goodies page. We already know links are broken there, but please tell us what you see so we can make sure nothing is missed. Anything at all you notice on the site that is not working, needs updated and so on. We try, but hey life happens.
Also, if you haven’t noticed this past week I have become very active online. I had been tired, trying to spend time with the family, and then trying to sleep normally. I was feeling drained. The I bought some probiotics that have other stuff in them, as well as talking to M about how I can’t do what I have been doing since I feel worn out.
The result?
I now sleep when he leaves for work until 1-2pm in the afternoon, which is right around 8 hours. I get alot of work done during those times, there is no one awake here, and even the pets are sleeping mostly. Also in conjunction to all of this, I am taking the pills. Talk about energy boost!! They make it where you get energy from what you eat from digesting your food better. I also make sure I eat three times a day, and rarely snack anymore.
Now the pills I am taking are expensive, and are a specific brand and they don’t work for everyone. However, I was slumping towards becoming as sick as I was when I was working. I figured since all the side effects are what I am suffering now, what could it hurt? For me, this works awesomely. It could have a negative side effect on my anti-depressants, but the boost of energy makes me a happy person often. So it works out for me.
How does this affect you guys? This past week, I worked on Sacred Chapter (finished) LOTR chapter (sent to beta and the chapter is set up all ready to go) and Edge Chapter (sent to the beta and returned, I just need to make banners for it.) I also am going through all the sites I publish in and updating them with either banners or uploading stories to them. I also worked on the site itself extensively and updated banners for it. I smooshed all the Alice One Shots into one slider. I also made a banner for my one Twilight OS story. I also made the completed page for easier finding of what is done and when.
Today I am finishing up the other sites, then working on banners for the aforementioned stories and the writing challenge. I will be publishing some of the Revelations chapters as well. Tomorrow? I will not be working on the sites or anything Fanfiction. It will be time to read, to catch up on other things and spend time with family. And if I get bored, then I can come in and play games. But I need to take a break.
What am I aiming for? To make it where I can write all those stories you guys keep asking for. I WANT to finish stuff, but I need time without having people asking for updates. Sacred has 30 chapters written to it already. I will not be updating this every week until I run out of other stuff to update. I will dribble it out, then when I do have only it left, I will publish each week. That way I can have at least 30 weeks to write new stuff for you guys.
So, go on to read, and we will see what all I will be publishing on Monday and what can be published for you sooner.
Also, when I go to make banners for the chapters, I try to find a theme behind them. For instance, ED was Roads, Edge is Dirt Roads. Crossing the Line is Trains, LOTR is Middle Earth, Crossing the Fine Line was Space, and so on. Surfergirl11 inspired me in Sacred with her banner, but when I went to make the banners for the chapters, I couldn’t replicate her work. So I changed the banner and picked Fire and Water (aka Lava and water). My OCD makes me want everything to match. So here is her original banner, which I give credits to on the homepage of the story. Which also contains a link to her other banners she has out for adoption. They are amazing!

I talked with the ladies in my group, have talked this over in the past with close friends. Then I talked with M, the hubby.
See, I have insecurities. A lot of them. And I just can’t see why anyone would want to read original fiction by me. I hear so much about how I manage to find possibilities in Fanfic to write on, but not a lot is said otherwise. So, after talking to all the aforementioned people, reading the copyright laws, (which thank God I can read that stuff but my back and neck has been hurting from it!!) I am taking this chance.

I will say this fic has been played around with by me for over five years, as well as dreamed, thought about and so on longer than that. I first was going to do Alice and Hatter from Syfy Alice (2010). That one was really involved and thought completely out. A rough draft of an outline formed from it. But then the ladies I discussed it with and I no longer were working together. We all went our own ways, due to RL.
Then I thought, hey, it would be a great idea for a Damon and Bella fic!!! I went so far as to type out chapters, crying, since it really is a sad beginning (but it is awesome later on!!!!). I had at that time started to tie together some of my fics into a universe.
But then, Charlaine Harris wrote the last book of the SVM series. I never read it, but I was in love with the characters. I had planned to read the series when she was finished, but with the ending being what it was, I refused.
I was talking with my team of betas at the time, Meridian, Bertie Bott, Mommy4Thomas, MissRissa81, MissRon80 and 4Padfoot. (I know I am missing some, and I am sorry for not remembering who was all on that night!) and I was telling them about this idea. They asked why don’t I try writing an Original Fiction series for it?
That started my mind going. I have chapters done and plan on returning to it more. But I planned out how it will work. Some of those plans had already spilled into fics. There are two individuals that have in fact appeared in my fics, and both happen to be in the Set You Free series, as well as a mention of another group in the Free Will is Everything trilogy. But that was before my ladies really talked to me and convinced me I could rewrite everything.
This was pulled before it ever got published and has sat in my files since then. But I was rereading it the other day, and while it is connected to the Brotherhood of Demons Universe, it really is separate. Armando Ignacio d’Napoli had to be different from everyone even in my universe. But I had plans for him.
So you guys get the chance to read an original fiction by me. I am sitting here nervous as hell, and debating with myself even as I wrote this. But all in all, I need to do something. This is easier to do than later when I send the manuscripts out for the first time. Obviously, it will NOT be published on Fanfiction.net. But I plan to publish on other sites I am a member of that supports Original Fiction.
When you click the button to be taken to the chapter, for the first time, you will need to go through the Original Fiction Page I made. After this chapter, by clicking the links, you agree to the terms laid out on that page. Mostly that this is a work out of my imagination. That I have the rights to tell someone no; on using my characters, my ideas and so on.

Within a week, I will be doing the origin story(s) that will be spread out among the series to explain everything. There is also a hint how to be considered to be a pre-reader for the other works.

Is there no more sun? While I slept in my oddball time yesterday evening, was there an announcement that the sun took the day off?!?!?

As you know all too well, insomnia thinks it is my best friend. It sent me a necklace last night in fact. So I am back to sleeping for little hours, cat naps really, (why do they call them that? My kitten naps, along with the 7-year-old cat and they sleep for hours. Cat naps are supposed to be small increments of time.)
See, Connor and Murphy are becoming eunuchs today. Murphy is very, very aggressive lately. Connor needs to be since it makes them live longer, but seriously, it is Murphy who pushed this sooner on us. So I will be leaving here, with two hyper dogs who think they are going for a ride, then drop them off for surgery. We will pick them up later, and I for one, am so happy this is taking place today since it will mean there will only be one day that I will have to take care of two dogs alone.
So, while I was lying in bed, trying to get more than 4 and a half hours sleep, I noticed the most awesome, mighty, wonderful Beta, MistressJessica1028, had sent me the first 6 chapters of Clocks.
Let me tell you about the story behind Picking Down Clocks. I wrote it, then edited and sent it off to be betaed. MJ sent it back saying it was a little too jumbled in time. She suggested that I tear it apart and put it in chronological order. I was too anxious having my lovebirds separated, so I had them together remembering the time before. However, MJ was 100% correct in having me reorder it all.
The issue? I suck at verb tense. And it’s quite bad. For me to tear apart the chapters, (Thank GOD for OneNote, it made it a breeze to move things around and do what I needed to do!) then go back and work on them…it took months. It got to where I would watch the video for the story that 4padfoot made for me as well as the cheering in the Kittyinaz’s Facebook Group for em to struggle with it. I started to hate it frankly.
When I got out of the chapters, I was just too happy to get past them, and finish what I had written. I sent it off, and breathed a huge sigh of relief.
This morning, I got them back and opened it up to work on it. I was hesitant, and played a game of Candy Crush in fact. When your beta tells you it took them forever to work on them, you know it was bad. Then I took myself in hand and started to go through the notes MJ left me. And soon I was laughing. She left notes, rants about oddball things. All in all, I was so entertained by the whole thing I am thinking of doing the next chapters as well.
This story is one of the ones that the group begged asked for and is, in fact, the one that they broke my conviction of not doing any until they were completed.
So please take a moment, and give mighty thanks to MistressJessica1028 and her wonderful patience with my messed up chapters. She deserves it.
