Ok, for those that are not part of the Kittyinaz Facebook Group, you had no idea what was going on. All of a sudden I just disappeared.
Sorry about that. I wasn’t sick, but I was. If that makes sense. I had body aches, chills and sometimes just wanted to crawl into a dark place and hibernate. Headaches and so on. It sucked. I thought it was me needing a break, instead, I ended up wishing I could work.
However….
I had plenty of time for finally watching some shows I have been meaning to watch.
First off, was Shanarra Chronicles.
For those that read the books, it starts off close but quickly goes sideways. I loved it. But then, I love post-apocalyptic stories. I blame Robert Adams and his Horseclans for my first interest, then the Dragonriders of Pern. I love reading of the future, and what made the world lose the technology it had. (By the way, Islands in Time by S.M. Stirling is another favorite of mine!)
That took one night. (yes I watched the whole season in one night.)
Then I went and M in the room with me, started Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. M didn’t think he would like it, but we fell in love with it, and especially for me, with SkyeWard. I totally ship these two!!! However, for those that have watched the show, you know why I am upset. Not telling the rest of you, since it is a huge spoiler. But holey cow, batman. I normally like Joss Whedon!!! And we are only up to the next to last episode of Season 2…
So I have gone off to read Fanfiction, and am flabbergasted on the results of my hunt. Though, you know that prompt of finding the name of your soulmate on you, or the first words they say to you on your body? Yeah, this is a HUGE fandom behind the idea. And I am excited. For one lady went through and did a bunch of one shots, and allowed people to take that chapter and turn them into stories. Awesome….
The results of this is that I may take the Beast out of Tired Wings, and replace with Simmons. Cause she would be the better choice. But I may not. I do have an idea of a story though… And it ties into the universe I am kinda starting to build around Tired Wings. And another fiction I wrote.
But not until I am done with the original fiction, or done posting the first one, since I am completely done writing it, just need to edit it.

Yes, I really have an update for this story. I warned everyone that this one takes forever to write and beta for it. We are trying to be careful with the fiction since it is one of the more demanding fandoms, and well, I want to do justice to it.
So we double, triple check the data. I need to write on it, I have only one more chapter banked. But I have a clearer idea due to the beta (who really rocks!!!!!!!!) and I will be able to work on this once I have some more chapters edited. Right now, I am busy getting better, as well as making sure you have updates.
Reminder, the contest for Outlaws and Angels is ending on Wednesday midnight, CST. I am looking forward to reading what you guys came up with.
I hope that I can feel better tomorrow to work, but I am getting tired now, and need to relax. Enjoy the chapter!!!
First off, I did a review on the Non-canon Awards. It is for an oldie, but goodie. I am diving into the completed stories on Fanfiction.net to go back to the stories that introduced this universe to me. While I am not reading them all, (some had sequels that were never finished and so on) I am reading some of them and will be reviewing them. I figured they deserved some love too!

The next good news?
I worked on the next chapter of The Sun Holds the Moon! I have one in reserve still (since I like to make sure that I don’t write myself into a hole in this one) but Chapter 6 is done and the beta is notified. Now… I do have to remind you that a lot of work goes into the Lord of the Ring stories, fact checking as much as possible. Yes, I have taken liberties, but there is a lot I want to remain the same. So once I am done, I hand it to the beta, who goes through and fact checks things also. But it is done on my side!
Then… I finished another story edit last night. I have to go through and make a ton of banners since it is a new story. Though I will warn you… You really need to watch this video. It is the prologue to the story, and I will be making the page for it.
Yes. Sacred is about to become a live story for you to read!!!! Well, I mean it will have a chapter to read along with the beautiful video 4Padfoot made for it! The video is important to the story. Without it, some things will not make sense. And later it repeats for another person…. All I will say is it is a dream….

Well, my body forced me to take a day off yesterday, and I really didn’t have time for it. So I am not doing anything but the task I have to finish. Sorry if anyone asks a question, I will answer it when I am done.

Nice of you to ask! Yesterday I baby sat my nephews. It was…interesting. LOL The youngest is in the terrible 2’s and pushing to see how much Aunt Kittyinaz will allow. He didn’t win, of course. I had excellent practice in one of my cousins when she was a baby. It was funny to watch, his brother even telling him to do what I said since he couldn’t watch Jake the Neverland Pirate until Nephew 2 did as I said.
Also, to add to the fun, I went to bed at 9 on Sunday, and woke up at 12:30 am Monday morning. And never went back to sleep. Brother 1 told Brother 2 that it was too bad, but he was tired so it was nap time so Aunt Kittyinaz could sleep. Nephew 2 decided that as long as I set a timer for 40 minutes, and he could get out of bed after that, he would do it. He had no idea what 40 minutes was, but I was all for that one!
I ended up taking 3 melatonin last night to get to sleep 8 hours. Thank god!
I am also trying to do something, that I am occupied otherwise. I can’t tell you what, but you should see in about 2-3 months. Until then, I have only a few more days to keep to schedule, then pushing for another part and then I can finish.
So to say the least, I will be doing that this month, but the betas are trying to catch up with the work I have already sent them. I have up to Chapter 4 done for them on Clocks, Game of Life has a Beta, the last written chapter of LOTR is done and will be posted on time next week. What If Beta is trying to get online, but the site is not being nice. Dying to Start again is being worked on by the beta between busy schedules. I think that is the schedule right now. Remember it is Summer, and it is a hard time to work on stuff when you have the kiddos at home. I know it is frustrating to wait for updates, but I rather them not feel pressured and work as they can, than try to find awesome betas. They are a little hard to find.
The chat page seems to be a huge hit. I usually sit on there when I am writing. But the issue is, I am writing. If I am lost in a scene, then it may take a little bit for me to register what is going on. I have Facebook open all the time, as well as the Chat page. In addition to that, I watch for my betas, and they get priority first. Since you like your chapters, I make sure I answer questions from them first.
We also have a new beta!!! It will take a bit to see work from her, we are working with her to get her used to our way of working. So far, she is freaking awesome. I don’t think she realizes the pluses yet, she is too busy trying to load programs to help out. She is an editor and Journalist, so I look forward to seeing what she has to say. Also nervous, but you are always nervous when you do anything new. If you see her in the Facebook Group or online in the chat room, please say hi! Once we are on a roll, we will update what she is betaing for. She is on the Home Page in the Beta section also. Remember, that the betas on the page that have their own websites have links there also. They are an awesome bunch of writers on their own, so please take a look at it if you are bored!
Pets: Since you guys ask about them, they are doing great! Connor is loving that he gets to play in water every day. We have to water the AC unit since it is freezing up. Connor thinks the evil water is attacking the AC so he tries to save it. ::Snickers:: Murphy does his part, but he dries sooo much faster than Connor. Also Connor is a Golden, a breed that adores water. So when he comes in, he is not kinda wet, he is soaked. Stormy, is still officially an it. Her next Vet visit is.. Friday I think. I will be seeing if they can guess also. She is still trying to cuddle when I am typing. If you chat, expect to see messages from her. We are trying to teach her to not walk on the keyboard, but it is an uphill fight.
Other than that, we are counting down to The day before Thanksgiving, when I will be leaving TX for AZ. My hubby comes back that Sunday, but I will be there with Connor. Then I go into writing when I want, and last time I wrote AIW. I am going to try again to write the sequel and as many others as I can.
I still need to work on the original Fiction. Ugh this is not easy, since I am trying to make sure I do not make errors later. So bear with me, while I try to fix stuff. Thank god for One Note is all I can say to keep people straight now!

This week will be weird for me, since I am going to be switching over to the novel. M (aka Mr. Kittyinaz, but he hates to be Kitty anything, so he wanted to be known as M. I was going with PF, but he gave me the look for that one.) is thrilled to death I am going to work on my novel. He is giving everyone a stern eye to back off, and let me work on this. He has this idea it will allow him to retire. Not quite dear. But I will allow you the dream.

I am so freaking honored to have these two stories nominated, much less EVER expected to place in these contests!!! This encourages me to get back to what I love.. Writing. And thanks so much to 4Padfoot for all her hard work.
So what does this mean for you guys? It means my betas have chapters, I just didn’t finish up Dying to Start or any of the others, but I will work on them on the weekends. I wanted to finish things, but time was escaping and with everything going on, I needed to just work. I have my white board all cleaned off, ready for me to plot out ideas, the one note pages ready, and I will be going through to make up the bios for my characters and so forth. I am NOT leaving any fandoms.
What I do need is some help on the database. I was using my favorites on FanFiction.net, and if someone would like to help out, I will be happy to let you know where I stopped. They are out there for anyone to see anyways. There is no fear about duplicates since, I have programs that make short work of them. Just frankly, I was doing all the work on the Fanfiction site, and while MissAliceUnsub was kind enough to help on the blogs, it is ALOT of work!!! And to be truthful, a month of working on it is to much. I have other things you guys like.
And to be absolutely truthful, the people who support me have submitted their information to me. (If you haven’t well… you can ask me for the sheet and I will send it to you.) But after this past week, I kinda feel like there is no reason for me to break my back and put off my readers who showed so much support for me. I do so much, and even my friends are asking why.
As it is, I am looking for some positive reinforcement for the Reviews & Interviews I do on the Non-Canon Awards. You guys have until the current crop is done. If I don’t hear anything, then I am going to be thinking about telling the ladies over there I won’t be doing it anymore. Here is the one I did for this week: Back and Forth
The things that will continue are the contests I host. They make me feel good when I can help someone get their leg up on the wonderful feeling of writing and others liking it. It truly is awesome, and I wish to continue to give that chance to the writers who are stumbling with writers block, or those that want to start. I support more than TB/SVM fandoms.
For those that were Pre-readers before on my Original Fiction, check with Rissa on Facebook and she will organize all that. You guys will see things being published as I finish things. You are more than welcome to look through the information I supply.
As many of the authors probably saw, I am working on my emails. I and down to 88 unread updates. And none of those are for more than one story. Yikes. I am also trying to be better and leaving reviews. I lost track of the reblogs, and decided to restart today. Sorry. My inbox is scaring me and my OCD is freaking out. Not a good combo.
So I have my tea, a Connor on my feet. A murphy sleeping, and who knows where Tucker is. I am also making plans for the ball of fur coming my way.

I finally have the new chapter of the Lord of the Ring story up.
I warned you guys it would an every other week thing. I need to write more on this, and this is one I need to sit down and really look over to write. The idea of it is awesome. But, as one reader was kind enough to inform me, I had a bit of information wrong. I named Gladriel as Legolas’s Grandmother. Nope. Wrong family. Elrond was of her line. Duh!
But it is this that makes this one more tricky than most for me to read. There are huge family lines and so forth that Mr. Tolkien wove into his story telling. The movies didn’t help either since there was no way for Mr. Jackson to make a movie on everything in the books. The Fellowship of the Ring would have been three movies by itself!
On the other hand, I spent this past weekend and so far this week not feeling so well. And it is the hateful sort. I am mostly over it, but I am bored by reading, and have so much to do. And it is stationary. However, my stationary ends up being where I hardly move and that is not good either. I really need a laptop. One that will connect all the time to the internet. Then I can work on it, and feel much better on staying in bed and resting like I should. I am good the first couple of days. But it is now I am so bad, and what gets me in trouble. I get to where I want to do something. Anything.
I am so good about insisting on my betas get rest and not work, but for myself? Yeah. Not so good.
Luckily, the rest of this week is the betas telling me when to hit publish and write these out. Also one of the ladies is helping me out on the database. I am going to work on it for awhile. Though I am being begged for the next chapter of Sacred from the prereaders. One of them is having a really bad day, so we will see.
