Yeah, it ain’t the greatest title for a post, but you knew there was a chapter of Clocks right?
So.. Interesting things happened last week and yesterday.
First is on Friday I went up and saw my newest Jacob who is finally home with grandma (who is his great grandma!). He is so tiny next to all the ones we have had lately. And of course, I love him just as much as all the others.
I found out that if I take more than 2 days to edit a chapter, I need to give myself a break. Work on something else. For me, I watch a movie in my head of what I write down for you guys. Imagine watching it over and over and over. Not so much right? Especially one small piece of it? That is what was happening to me on Edge. I had to walk away so I can come back to it after I work on something else. Otherwise I just stare at it now… And there are a lot of details that make the chapter richer, that I need to write in and look over…
The other thing was I complained of a headache last night and Hubby (otherwise known as M) started mouthing off how I had a headache every day. It bugged me as I lay down and then it came to me, See my iPad still had that corner popping up, and I pressed down one day to pop it back in, and it cracked the screen. and will not work now… so I have been reading on my iPhone 5. Needless to say, the print is very tiny. So M gave me his iPad (which is the first one and was mine at the beginning) and I gave him mine to fix for himself. He never uses his as much as I do. Now we wait with baited breath to see if I can get a new one, and especially a new phone. Mine needs charging sometimes 3 times a day…. It’s old…
So what does this mean? For now, a chapter a week to update at least. If I know I have one for the next week and one comes up done, then I will publish it. Sorry. The old pace was when I got alot of editing done and sent to the betas. I’m trying, but I am also trying not to stress myself out. That would be bad.
Also it will help if I stop hurting myself and doing stuff. But hey… at least I am trying!!!!

Guess what? Somehow in the madness of this past week, I managed to not only get a bunch of new betas. (And thank you very much each and every one of you!) but I managed to edit a chapter.
Yes, you read that right. I managed to edit a chapter of one of the stories I wrote on while I was on vacation. (more…)
So I had given up on working what I want. My muse decided that she will work on what SHE wants not what I want. So I am now working on what she wants.
Pesky Muse.
But she is working on one story. I gave a teaser out in the group, and then promptly wrote the next chapter that the betas loved. And am writing the next one. But I don’t think my group much liked the teaser. So we will see if they get more.
For those that don’t follow me on Facebook personally, it snowed here in AZ!!!! Yesterday some big fluffy snowflakes the size of small snowballs coming down. I woke up this morning expecting it gone like the last one, but the ground is mostly white (except for where the dogs and we played). So I am up early, in a warm new comfy U of A sweatshirt, candle lit, Tea made and being drank and working away while all the dogs play around me.

It’s been a long day, but I wanted to give you this chapter!
Right now, I am decorating my computer, as 4Padfoot plays with the backgrounds to decorating the site for Xmas. Since I am leaving in two weeks (yeah!!!!!!), and will be gone until the 18th of January, I will not be here to really deal with the Xmas stuff. (as well as me decorating the posts… warning!)
*Sighs*
But I am excited for the upcoming trip. I made a list for my iPhone that is just the Xmas songs and the more popular songs right now. It’s only 813 items, nowhere as long as the other ones. IT’s two days long, so it should be good for the trip, and how my hubs and I like to skip a song if it doesn’t fit the part of the road we are on.
Now here is the bad news. I am officially on vacation. The ladies are on vacation. Everyone is on vacation.
Well, except 4Padfoot for emergencies. And she will probably play while the boss is away.
But what does this mean??? Means it is time for me to write….
See, I have this week, which I will be more around than any afterwards. But next week? I will be running around, making lists, researching things and so forth.
And trying not to murder my iPad.
Seriously.
I have to turn it off, bend the edges and then work it for about 10-15 minutes before repeating. What is it doing? It’s called ghost touching. I can lay the thing down, walk away and no one close to it, and you can watch it move around, open apps and so forth, all on it’s own.
Yeah, it sucks.
But I will be backing up the laptop that I will be using, putting the last touches on the banners (the names and so forth) and putting the files I will be using on a thumb drive in case I can’t use the google drive. I can’t think of why I cannot, but I am not taking any chances.
Making lists, and checking them twice, and wrapping all the stuff we have already. I will also be taking the traverse for an oil change and all that fun stuff.
The weekend before we leave, Connor will need to be washed. And we will be packing the Traverse that Sunday, so all I have to do is get up, get ready and leave with the dog. Well, stop and grab me a Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper to help me wake up.
