OMG!!! I have been running myself ragged. Really ragged to get stuff done.
See I have a project that I had been working on. It slowly took over everything since I was on a time limit. And I finally finished last week. In fact, I started this post and then I left.
I ended up I pushing myself so hard, I was to the point that I was only working on it unless I was sick. And even then, I tried to work.
Workaholics Anonymous is a place I need to visit I think.
I did drop everything, and I apologize for it. However, I am still on a ‘vacation’. In other words, trying to convince myself that don’t need to be up and working. I am actually feeling guilty not to be on the computer working myself to death.
But here is the happy side of things, in a month or so, you will see the completed project. Betas need to work over what I did, as well as I need to make banners and so forth. BUT IT IS COMPLETE! Meaning, no sequels, no waiting for chapters to be written.
I am also reading some old works of my own, (Though I should be working on the 115+ emails on my inbox that are updates! And yes, Royal Ember, I know you are one of them!!!!) Among them so far are IND, (Which I started to write a chapter but was continuously interrupted so I had to stop.) and I just finished You’re. Yes, I am trying to get in the mood to work on stories I have out there. I am ignoring the muse who is trying to be sly and hint on a new story. I want to finish these stories more than you can ever imagine. I just have so much on my plate in RL and in the Fanfiction world.

Now, I am putting out a call for a beta who like Once Upon A Time. Someone I admire had asked me if I know anyone who will beta for him, and when I say he is awesome, I really mean it. Also, if you haven’t noticed, the Food Blog is being revived with some new blood. tj6james6 as well as MissAliceUnsub have taken the reigns on it and are busy working with it and discussing ideas. If you have suggestions or anything at all, stop by and let the ladies know what you are thinking, or even just to say hi!
I am also odder than most, Spring and Fall is my busy times, I work harder than most ever think during the times. I am rereading things to get back into the mood to write, as well as thinking of what I need to do for the OF. I have to get into it and work the bios before I can go back to writing. I was already asking myself questions.
Along with that, I want to write on some of the other stories, Hp, LOTR and so forth. Just give me some time, now that I realize that I can do something, but I won’t do the editing in the small amount of time again. Holy Cow that almost broke me!
I will admit, that I was thinking of doing a contest, but instead, will direct you to Bertie Bott’s Spooktacular contest. However. I am doing one for November. It will be posted at the beginning of Christmas season. I am leaving the day before Thanksgiving to head to my inlaws, and I will be on restricted internet. I also am unsure how Photoshop will react on the laptop I am going to be using, so I will be doing the banners before I leave. The theme this year? Christmas. I will make it easy for you guys.
If you have been following me for awhile, you know when I go on vacation, so do my lovely ladies who help out. It’s only fair, and since the holidays are such a hard time to be trying to work, I am hoping this will make it easier for everyone. Just read and vote on the stories you like.
Now, I am going to relax. I have made some new banners, playing around with an idea I got off the MacBeth movie poster. See:
They are adoptable, I just been lazy and not put them into the site yet under the adopatable banners. Well, I should admit the NCIS one is an idea for me, but won’t be used, so I can let it go. Or if someone wants the idea of it but with other people, please remember that you can ask for changes to be in them.
I’m always up for trying stuff. And right now, I am all happy, I just got my stats from Grammarly. It is something that makes me happy to see where I do good, and wince on the bad stuff. But I am trying to imporve.
I know I didn’t add many pics to the chapter, and I am sorry. I figured you would rather me post the chapter than put it off to make the character banners for the newcomers. We all know what Elrond and Gandalf look like, right?
Well, my body forced me to take a day off yesterday, and I really didn’t have time for it. So I am not doing anything but the task I have to finish. Sorry if anyone asks a question, I will answer it when I am done.
I am really sorry! But in the end, you will thoroughly enjoy what I am working on when you find out. I promise. Well, at least I hope so.
Also, I posted the Banner contest for those that want to enter it for the group. 1st place is the banner of the month for the group, and 2nd place is the banner of the month for the Facebook Page. (Yes, there is a difference and I have both.) Deadline? August 30. Voting will be on August 31. The theme is Fall.
I know. I suck. I do have a chapter to post on the LOTR/Twilight story that I meant to post last week. I do!!!
Just last week was more than I anticipated. I was so overwhelmed by the time I would be home, I was just wanting down time. But then I have that Time sensitive project I am working on. So no downtime for me.
Which is messing with me more than I can explain. Then there is the whole OCD thing I have going, and the fact I need to make up the stuff around the project.. UGH!
Then I was all, this week I am going back to the gym. Yep. This is the week. I am tired of being tired all the time, and maybe this will help me sleep. At the least, I will lose some weight, now that I am mostly back to eating 3 times a day. mostly. I mess up sometimes and only realize at night that I ate only 1 meal all day. Oops.
Except, it wiped me completely out. Like I had to stop to grab something to eat or I was going to pass out. I had to sit down for a bit when I got home to take a shower. All that made me more determined to do the following:
Keep going to the gym. I hate feeling that weak!
Make sure I eat.
Ugh!
I am hoping that I will be able to get a lot done today on the project, so I can get back to our regularly scheduled programs. Nothing would make me happier than to get back to writing. And working on that damned original fiction. I have a lot more back work to do, but it will be worth it in the end.
I also want to finish up Clocks, (I am on the last ‘fixer’ chapter!) since I am so close to going back to already worked over stuff. I just need to check it all, then let the beta know I am done with that one.
Some Sacred Place In Time Banner
I am also ready to work more on Sacred when I feel the inclination to write. I have some prereaders who will placated with the project, are still looking at me, tapping their feet and looking pointedly at their watches. I left them on a kinda cliffhanger. Not really, but they seem to think so.
I still have Best to work on and Blood’s chapter I had not been aware was out there. And I am currently reading some fanfiction in that universe. So it is getting me back in the framework. I need to write up some reviews so that when 4Padfoot’s idea is ready, we will have some stuff waiting to be used over there. Shucks, I have to reread some favorites.
All this so I can be reset back to how I was when I first started to write. Alot of work isn’t it? I prefer to write. More than anything else. Though not under the time limit I had, but I can successfully say I CAN write a story under a month. Not that I want to again, since I had to depend alot on my CB, Rissa, more than I like to. It’s not fair to her.
I don’t know if I mentioned, but Mamakitty likes to draw. I gave her my bamboo tablet, and then she got an iPad. She realized that if she just got the right pen, she can draw on it also. The first try was not so good, but I ended up with a Pen that is just like one you would use. She went on to get a Bamboo one. Well, I have been playing with mine, and found a program for writing notes. It erases the fact my hand rests on the tablet, and reacts to the sensitivity of the pen itself. You have different pen types to try, and I found that the fountain pen is the best pen for my style of writing. Which cracks me up, since I use one of them to draw on glass. But the results look like I actually wrote them.
The bad side to the program? Unlike OneNote, it doesn’t transfer to any other device. its strictly for the iPad. It will convert my handwriting to text, so I am playing with the idea of using it for more than writing my notes to myself on stuff, ideas and so on. We will see. The program is called Notes Plus. If you take notes for work and so on, it is awesome for it. Just we go back to the fact that I like to have a program if I am out and about and am stuck with an idea, I can write it in my phone and see it when I get home on my computer.
So yes, I have a crapload of stuff to do, and I am working on it. I had this project come up and it took over everything, but the hard part is done. I just need to get in gear and get the next part done. I will say having a laptop has been helping, I take it with me into the living room, bedroom and so on to work on. While it is not mine, and I really want one of my own, it works and more importantly, it connects to the internet. So I can write on it, then save, and come in here and take up from there.
What can I say, when technology works, it really is awesome.
I have to mention, Happy Birthday to our leading man, Alexander Skarsgard. The man looks better with aging! He is the same age as me (which is sad, I don’t know how old I am have the time, but I can remember his age. Seriously. That is messed up!)

I’m trying, so give me some time, folks. You have no idea how busy RL has been for me. Drama Island has nothing on my family lately. I cannot wait for vacation.
Yeah, sorry this is late. I had an interesting week.
I upgraded to Windows 10. I have multiple screens, and I had issues with it, and felt very stupid when all it needed was another restart. So my mom, who had set me up to be the guinea pig, decided to upgrade her Windows 7 to 10. (I had 8.1). Yeah, while I spent an hour and a half waiting for the upgrade to load, then spent an hour working through the options (which I fell in love with Cortana) my mom had so many more issues. We were up to 12:30 getting her to work. Let me tell you, restart, restart, restart!!!!
No nightmares on anyone else, everything works sooo much better, but the issues we had were because of the multiple screens. Nothing to help it, just do as I say and restart until the other screen pops up right. Then restart one more time if you use Google. (after you set google to be your browser.) Edge is not so bad, but it uses Bing, and I am not a Bing fan. But for everything else? OMG. It recognizes the Bose speakers finally and the sound is phenomenal! I don’t have Photoshop crashing when I try to resize stuff and other issues.
Then came Friday. I spent the entire day with Grandma, walking everywhere, as we shopped. Normally not a big deal for me, but I think it was a combination of heat (it was 102 once per my Traverse!) which means the Heat index was high. I spent the whole day chugging drinks like you wouldn’t believe, and still got a heat headache. I hate humidity. By the end of the day, we were taken to Dinner, and then I went home and took Aleve, as well as gulping more liquids.
Saturday was a pool party at my aunts house, and M saw me limping badly when I woke up and told me to chill out. I am not kidding you, no matter how I stretched it out, I had what felt like a live wire going from the top of my right leg all the way down. And no way to freaking relax it!! I even went with my mom, after making Angel Lush for the pool party, to Apple to exchange her iPad for a bigger memory one. (Yeah, I am like that. But I couldn’t sit very long without it hurting more.) By the time that was all done, it was late and everyone in my family called off going. M was going bowling, Dad was so tired from working OT in the heat and MamaKitty was tired, headache from the heat as well needing to start her upload of her new iPad.
I didn’t get any sleep until like 8 am the following morning. Needless to say, I spent alot of yesterday resting. And today only had a headache. That I can feel. (I have a high pain tolerance, if I fall asleep, whatever bothered me is often not felt by me the following day. not all the time, but enough that it is a relief!) Unfortunately, this has a bad side effect. See, I get sick if I am stressed. Not stressed mentally (though that can count towards it). If my body is hurting, it causes stress and I get sick. Wonderful aint it? Not really. It doesn’t help with that pain tolerance since often I know i am in pain by getting sick though I don’t feel it.
Why am I telling you all this? Cause I feel guilty.
I have been slacking on working this past week (to me) though I finished a chapter a night for a not-able-to-tell-you reason, and worked on a chapter of Clocks, as well as dealing with all the computer issues and so on. This is slacking to me. I haven’t been online to talk to the group as much nor have I been able to do much in fact. Have I ever mentioned I hate summer also?!?!!?
As I mentioned on a post in Facebook, the cold never bothered me anyways fits me. Seriously, I have a ceiling fan, a desktop fan and a fan for the CPU/slash my feet. Yes, the dogs fight for the spot by my feet for the nice cool fan. And often I am still hot. ugh
I am on my last week of taking Grandma to PT, then I will be back to working all week long. And back to the gym I am hoping, since I haven’t been able to go while I did all this. Though I will be gone for the thursdays this week, taking care of my nephews.. Such a hard life. LMAO!!!
This is why I am not worried about my betas, since summer is a very hard time for them to work. They often have children they are taking care of, or other obligations. Vacations and so on. When they can get to stuff, they are all very good about it. And I have been checking in with them.
4Padfoot has come back!! And she has been a powerhouse while she has been back. She fixed my attempt at the Awards page, and told me not bad. If we forgot an award, please let us know. We Have them divided into two categories: Awards by the site(year) and Awards by Story. It is taking advantage of the neat stuff this theme can handle, and uses some graphics and such. Easy all in all, but it was to have me to learn my theme some. By me… lol. It is located on the Other Goodies page under awards. Or you can just click above to be taken to the new page.
She has also listened to you guys, and has made a Site Map for those unable to find features they had in the past. (They are all there!) This can be found up top after the posts. Click on the pic above showing you where it is to be taken to it. This is NOT graphics heavy at all, and is an alternative to tablet users and so on. I will remind you though. There are items that are Password Protected on purpose. Only those that are approved to read those stories will be allowed.

I am completely shocked that All I Want won. You’re came up from behind, it was originally behind Edge. But I see and I will be working on AIW as soon as I get a free moment. Hopefully after the novel since I will be freer after then. Or in Tucson.
Hopefully a freak cold front comes in and I will get REALLY inspired as usual and get cracking. Until then, I will deal with a kitten you can’t give tuna to. Seriously. M gave her whatever was left on his draining thingie from the tuna cans, and she was racing up and down the house, taking the longest routes, running up the couch and back, over the dining room table and.. well you get the idea. She did 2 laps in a minute. And we have a long house. She just woke up, so I am anticipating the jumping and so on. She already has shut the laptop lid from where I am getting ready to do the Windows 10 Upgrade. Hopefully it fixes the issue with it. Besides it being old. Still eligible for Photoshop, but old… (Yes I am hoping for another one… before the trip to Tucson.)
And this has been a weird past week for me. If the above picture doesn’t hint it. There are days I want to take up scorpion petting and some of them happened this week.
I try to work as much as possible, but I do have to take time out for RL, since I am off to take my Grandma to her appointments. Amazing how disruptive it is to take her for an hour to PT, but it really is somehow. I don’t feel like doing anything before hand, and then by the time I come home, the house is getting hot and M is home. So I been feeling like I have been falling behind and I hate it.
I have done more reviews and interviews on the Non-Canon Awards, so I am getting ahead on that, TG! I am cheating, when I read an update, I try to review the story. Notice I say try. There are going to be a couple deterrents on that soon.
See, I do ALOT on my iPad. But a year ago, the screen was broken due to the carelessness of a security guard in our wonderful justice system when I reported for jury duty. M has a friend who is starting with replacing screens as a side job, and has agreed to do mine. Yeah!!! No more broken screen! But the bad side? It will be gone for a couple days. Do you know how many updates and so on I get in a day? Many!!! I also answer people on my time off, even though I am not supposed to, but if an urgent matter comes across the screen, I try to deal with it.
Hello, my name is Kittyinaz, and I am a Workaholic! Always have been, I used to be really bad when I worked in the workplace. No one really knows how many hours I worked on my own time and money. But I feel guilty, that I am doing nothing and am bored when I have such interesting things to do! (and there is your earwig for today)
You know that whole saying, if you love what you do, its not really work? Yeah. I have been lucky n the last decade and a half to have jobs like that. Now I am writing, and I cannot love it more. I just need to get to the money making side soon!
Basically, if you do anything when my iPad is gone, even review, well it is easier to like and answer on that thing than on the on the computer. So it will be a little bit depending on when M takes it in, and when I get it back. I expect to have lots of red notifications when I get it back, and that is going to drive me nuts!!!

I finished another chapter of Clocks, and am working on some character banners to fill in the blanks for you guys. I’m also going to work with 4Padfoot about a new character page to let you guys know what is going on easier. As in who is who and related to whom. Since bloodlines are so important not only in this one but IND, I needed to make sure they are easy to understand. I have a bloodline thingie in my notes, so you guys should have one.. if it is feasible.
