You kinda remember this story right? It was one of the first ones posted to this site, and then I ended up not writing more on it. Until last year.
I was trying to finish it, but I ended up having a hard time with one of the characters. After a long fight with them, well I am going with the muse. Some of you will be upset, but if you read my other stories, there is a hint to the one character I cannot seem to make fit in. And for once, it is not Edward. He is behaving…
So I have this chapter ready. I figured since you guys have been patiently awaiting it, I will give it to you today, but I think I will put it on the rotation for Thursdays. I already have the next one beta’d I just need to work on the questions she has for me. It will be up next week.
Really. I have no idea what I had, but yeah. Glad it is gone. I am drinking some gingerbread tea today to make sure my tummy is fine. Personally I think it was something I ate, which the length of it is a huge indicator of that being so. Who knows. Not me, or I wouldn’t have stuff like that happen.

I will also be figuring out what the new contest will be, I want to get the other entries done so the new prompt will be showing on the page last.
Great news!!! I have chapters of What If to go over from the beta, and I will be publishing the first one this week. I have had alot of requests on it, and it was my fault. I forgot the beta had not signed onto the new site yet. Thankfully we got her cleared on, and she has been working on them.
I am also working on Clocks. It will be slow to get that one going, only because we changed the chapters and the flow to make it easier for you guys to keep track on what is going on. The bad thing is that things that originally were flashbacks are now current. So I am doing my part, but as much as I am trying, I expect that there will be some issues for the beta. I am going to send the chapter through Grammarly before sending it to her, hopefully to make it easier on her.
I also am still making banners for adoption. Funny story on that, seems Stormy likes to watch me make the banners as I do them. So to chill her out sometimes, I make banners for her. Remember, any banner you like, I am willing to change the characters. Just message me on it, and I will work with you.
This weekend is July 4th weekend. Thankfully M is off on Friday, so we will be running around with GrandmaKitty. She loves it when M is with me, and since we will be grocery shopping, it will be even better for her. Seems she loves when we have the whole, It’s not on the list, it is! arguement.
Stormy and the dogs are still running around the house. They right now are in my office. Well Stormy runs in to get the dog’s attention, and then runs out. She doesn’t understand the whole Office is where to be thing the dogs do. She will get it later.
Other than that, I have alot going on, so I will be back hopefully later with a chapter or two. Just gotta see where the betas are at!
Last week had been another one of those weeks you were ready to fall on your knees thanking God to have gotten through. I would have literally done that, but my knees are not able to take that anymore. God I hate getting old!
I know I skipped a lot of updates last week, and sadly, it looks to be the same. The reasoning? I am a bad Author in communicating with Betas. One of my poor ladies thought what I wanted was no where close and she did a fantastic job with what little I told her. Sadly, it was so confusing for both of us we agreed to erase it and never talk about it ever again. Wait. Did that count as talking about it? umm… oops. Ignore all that… (strikes it all out)
And this past weekend? My muse ran away. Absolutely refused to do anything. She had pushed for When I Pretend, and to placate her, I went reading through it, making banners and so forth. I went to bed and she had disappeared in the morning. No coaxing her would work, so I threw my hands in the air, and went to read my close to 200 update emails. I am happy to say with reading non stop Saturday, Sunday and Monday night, I am down to 18. My OCD is happier, but I can see her tapping her toes, giving pointed looks towards the inbox. Those two need to get together and plan these things.
Oh, wait. That is what they did, isn’t it..
lol. Oh lordy. I am going crazy….
Now that close to 200 updates, that is with any updates to the story after that being deleted. So if there were 2 more chapters updated, I erased those 2 since I would get them when I read the one. This backlog happened after the last couple weeks. You can guess when I left online and ignored emails for awhile. So about 2 weeks worth of updates lets say? NOW do you understand why it is taking so long for the database, and we wanted, begged, pleaded on our knees and so forth for help? For me alone, there is so many stories!!! 650+ in Fanfiction alone. That is not the blogs, not the other places I read stories, just FanFiction. And I started to put only completed stories (unless I am personal friends with the author, then I will put their stories in there) since I came to the TB/SVM universe.
This is hanging over my head, but I am also working on blocking out my book. I have read it, and need to go back to check on some things, but I am about ready to start reading it. For the pre-readers, you should be getting a chapter this week. Get with Rissa, since you will not only need the passwords to the chapters, but how to get to it on the site. It is hidden thanks to 4Padfoot’s amazing skills.
As for the last month Writing Contest, I finished my end, we are just waiting for the polls to be set up, so check on your emails later tonight.
For the weekends, I am going to be trying to work on Fanfiction, if the freaking muse will cooperate. I still have chapters to edit, and Sacred is still getting pointed looks from it’s pre-readers. I really would like to finish it, so I am going to try to keep working on it.
Now, you guys will get an idea of how everything works, since I will be posting as I finish chapters for the book. As each chapter is posted, I will let them know. Then move on to the next. I am planning on Wednesdays or Thursdays to make any notes I need to then back to working. I do better working in spurts.
So I will see you guys later, but I wanted to let you know it is all my fault nothing is done and ready for you this week. We will try again. I may make Mondays the days when I go through the stuff the Betas finish, and update it so it will be ready for me during the weeks. WE will see. I need to come up with something. My OCD is looking at me with her eyebrow raised. Artistic temperament with OCD. A recipe for going slowly mad I think…
This week will be weird for me, since I am going to be switching over to the novel. M (aka Mr. Kittyinaz, but he hates to be Kitty anything, so he wanted to be known as M. I was going with PF, but he gave me the look for that one.) is thrilled to death I am going to work on my novel. He is giving everyone a stern eye to back off, and let me work on this. He has this idea it will allow him to retire. Not quite dear. But I will allow you the dream.

I am so freaking honored to have these two stories nominated, much less EVER expected to place in these contests!!! This encourages me to get back to what I love.. Writing. And thanks so much to 4Padfoot for all her hard work.
So what does this mean for you guys? It means my betas have chapters, I just didn’t finish up Dying to Start or any of the others, but I will work on them on the weekends. I wanted to finish things, but time was escaping and with everything going on, I needed to just work. I have my white board all cleaned off, ready for me to plot out ideas, the one note pages ready, and I will be going through to make up the bios for my characters and so forth. I am NOT leaving any fandoms.
What I do need is some help on the database. I was using my favorites on FanFiction.net, and if someone would like to help out, I will be happy to let you know where I stopped. They are out there for anyone to see anyways. There is no fear about duplicates since, I have programs that make short work of them. Just frankly, I was doing all the work on the Fanfiction site, and while MissAliceUnsub was kind enough to help on the blogs, it is ALOT of work!!! And to be truthful, a month of working on it is to much. I have other things you guys like.
And to be absolutely truthful, the people who support me have submitted their information to me. (If you haven’t well… you can ask me for the sheet and I will send it to you.) But after this past week, I kinda feel like there is no reason for me to break my back and put off my readers who showed so much support for me. I do so much, and even my friends are asking why.
As it is, I am looking for some positive reinforcement for the Reviews & Interviews I do on the Non-Canon Awards. You guys have until the current crop is done. If I don’t hear anything, then I am going to be thinking about telling the ladies over there I won’t be doing it anymore. Here is the one I did for this week: Back and Forth
The things that will continue are the contests I host. They make me feel good when I can help someone get their leg up on the wonderful feeling of writing and others liking it. It truly is awesome, and I wish to continue to give that chance to the writers who are stumbling with writers block, or those that want to start. I support more than TB/SVM fandoms.
For those that were Pre-readers before on my Original Fiction, check with Rissa on Facebook and she will organize all that. You guys will see things being published as I finish things. You are more than welcome to look through the information I supply.
As many of the authors probably saw, I am working on my emails. I and down to 88 unread updates. And none of those are for more than one story. Yikes. I am also trying to be better and leaving reviews. I lost track of the reblogs, and decided to restart today. Sorry. My inbox is scaring me and my OCD is freaking out. Not a good combo.
So I have my tea, a Connor on my feet. A murphy sleeping, and who knows where Tucker is. I am also making plans for the ball of fur coming my way.
