And we have had a doozy of a month! (I thought the gif appropriate considering where I and many of the ladies I know will be watching tomorrow.)
I finished and published some new stories. You guys are now in the possession of the only chapters of Edge I had, and you started the Sun Holds the Moon. There are new chapters for Tin Man, and there are two more stories off to the beta, Game of Life and Dying to Start.
I started on the database. I currently have 496 stories in there. They are from Inuyasha, Alice, Alice in Wonderland, Once Upon a Time. AS well as the one I needed for the YWBAs, SVM/TB. And one lonely Twilight since one of my SVM/TB authors wrote it, and I put it in while I had it up. Last night I finished inputting all the Fanfiction stories from my favorites into the database. Thanks to some awesome authors who sent me their stories, we stand at 342 stories in my database. Yes. 342 stories, and I only got up through the e’s on the blogs. I am about to go tripping through the blogs I love next week to start inputting them.
As I mentioned before, if an author would like to be included or help out, from any fandom, contact me, and I will send you the spreadsheet. Otherwise, this is a lot of work, and since I am done with the easy one, (fanfiction) I have to go to each site, and go to your last chapter and see the date. That way if the story is complete, I can put the date in there. The date will come in handy for contests. For now, the crossovers and the YWBA’s will be the ones hit, but a lot of people seem to like to see how long ago something has been completed, or how long a current WIP has not been updated before they read. I don’t blame them, I like to know that too.
So if an author wishes to help, I will post all the stories you send me that you wrote. As a thank you. a huge thank you!! And for those of you in the SVM/TB world, I am noting who I have reviewed and not, so I can add that to the site. And to help me decide who needs to be reviewed next. Remember this is the same information that can be found on Fanfiction searching for a new story. In fact less, since I won’t do reviews and all that jazz.
I also did start a new fic, that I write on my times off. 4Padfoot was awesome and made a video prologue for it. Go check it out. It is freaking awesome. I am up to Chapter 7, and when I reach 10, I will be ready to edit and send off what I have to the beta. 10 seems a good number to let the muse flow and let me get the idea of what is going on…
Then there is this coming month.
The Non-Canon Awards will have some new authors soon. We have one more story for Mavrosal, and then I need to write a bunch of reviews for stories. I did find some one shots I didn’t read somehow on some of these stites, so I will be off to add them to the site. As well as the two big stories I have read (and reading) for me to review.
The Crossover site will be taking off once I am done with all these entries into the database. No sense in repeating myself, when I will be copying and placing these into the site from the same source. I also want to let the stories that I reviewed have a badge of some type. Maybe to have a little picture of the story? We will see. But with my interest being wrapped up in finishing this database, you better plan on me using it as much as possible to base some stuff out of!
Then there is the Writing Challenge for this month. The pic above will take you to the page with the rules and a better view of the pic. I had posted this as a share on my personal wall, and some of the ladies who are friends of mine commented that I need to use it for the writing contest. They were telling me all the ideas they got off it, so, I better see some stories! I can see many ideas myself.. Like a Supernatural (which cause I write Cross the Line and it has Supernatural it is allowed, see how this works?), The Vampire Diaries, the Originals, TB/SVM and so many more. So have fun with the ideas.
I am planning to be done with the database this month (Hopefully by the end of the week next week, but it all depends on how long it takes for the individual sites), so I will be working on the last of the edits then I will be working on the original fiction. For those of you who were Beta Readers, contact Rissa. You guys will see the posts for the readers to know when I am posting. These are raw works. No editing. Me writing, then posting for them to see. Once I am done, I will be hopefully continuing on to the next book. I will then go back and edit the books after the ladies get their comments in. Then comes the worse part for me, to send it out to my betas and get their input on what needs to be changed. After everyone agrees, that I have no spelling mistakes and so forth, I will start the process of trying to get someone to pick it up.
During this time, after the raw part is done, I will be back to finish the stories In The End and Edge. I want to also start on the other works but those two I will finish up. So you will get parts of other stories while I work on those ones.
I also want to work on Fanfiction Affliction to get my stories over there. If you haven’t visited it, I strongly encourage you! There is freedom of posting, and it’s always good to have alternatives. For those who were in Crossover haven, I will be sending out a post soon to you ladies.
Now will all this be done next month? No.
The You Want Blood Awards will be starting tomorrow, and once the nominations are in, we will be working to verify they fall inside the rules, as well as getting everything else ready. It really is more work that you guys will ever imagine. Shoot it was more than we thought it would be when we started! But it is so awesome to feel when we list the nominations and from there the feelings are even better. People are excited and so forth.
So that is my game plans. Hopefully it will all work out. I honestly can’t wait until I am done with the database stuff so I can move on to the part that I love, and you guys love. I have Dying to finish editing, Clocks,best and Some Sacred Place in Time to edit before I am back writing. So close…..

So far today, I have had my hubby fix my blu-ray player for my computer. It seemed like it forgot it plays blu rays. Hard to watch stuff with it not working.. especially some pivotal spots for the new story.
And.. finally… we are on new Tin Man chapters!!!! My beta rocks so much it aint possible to explain all she does. She has taken it upon herself to really read it, to watch the movie and the original to make sure it all ties together. My other betas are on top of things, but for an older fic? Wow!
But then, there is a reason I call my betas the royalty of the betas. They seriously rock and astound me. They give up their free time to help…me! That alone would make them royalty. but they go far beyond that, and often help me out when I am struggling with stuff. They listen, and are a great group when we need to bounce ideas off each other.
Then there is the launch of the TB/SVM directory to help find you new authors as well as where your old favorites may be now. Yeah, alot of us left fanfiction when they started to hound us for the content of our stories. I have been posting the beginning of my stories, then telling them for more, they need to come here. Other authors were not that lucky, and got all their stories taken down along with their author page. A comment made in a facebook page led to this site being made. And did they pour in so much work!!! I need to drop by my page and update the new story (it was not even a gleam in my eye when I did that page!). I have also added my badge for you to use on the side of the posts/pages. I highly recommend that you go play around.
And the last thing is the database. Man, I will be thrilled when I am done with that. I much rather write. Some more ladies have helped me along with that. kjwrit sent me a list this morning, as well as one of the ladies in EricizMine’s group got me a list together of what was finished or what. THANKS!!! and MistressJessica1028, Gyllene and Queen of Area 5 has allowed me to post the spreadsheet in their groups. Thanks so much!!! I haven’t checked the email yet today for the kittyinazsbetas@gmail.com, but I will be soon before I turn to working on that. I did ChanelAddict yesterday, since I was waiting to see if anyone could help me with EricIzMine’s works.
I know I am harping on it, but once I am done with the TB/SVM I will be doing the rest of the fandoms I read. The long run will be easier, and if I was truthful, to do all this the first time is hard. (I am adding other sites and the stories from other blogs) I am not even on what is on the pages yet, I am working off the YWBA’s list from last year. The full list, that didn’t have enough information for us to use it and so forth. If it was on the list, I am using the author’s name to see what fics there are out there.
Normally when we try to update, we pull out the favorites from FF, and after that is done, we are wiped. This way, will cut out a lot of the work, only using the fics I am adding to it from now on. And if I am smart, (which I really will be for the websites) I will add as I go. I also will maybe have a form for you guys to offer suggestions once it is done. Right now, I am adding mine, and I will look into it in the future. There are alot of fics!!!
So enjoy this chapter, I may have another later today, I am not sure. Tomorrow will be an update day for the other sites, and nothing new here. I will drop that off. I am very committed to giving the readers here a boost in my stories than other places. It gives you an incentive to visit and I love looking at all the wonderful visits on the site.

And.. no throwing anything, but today is the last chapter I have written for Edge that is going to be published. However, Meridian gave me an idea for a conversation with Sookie and Bella. *snickers* I can’t wait for that to be worked into the story!
So no being mean to the author… The muse hates it and really hates rotten fruit. She turns her nose up at it. And then somehow convinces my other side of the brain to go on strike and nothing gets done. nothing. Not even the dang database! *grumbles* It’s not like I want to spend all my time on the dang thing. I have to keep reminding myself. One time deal. Once done, I am done. Just need to add in the new stuff.
Talking about the Database…I put a call out to my group and the TB/SVM Fanfiction group in Facebook asking for help. So far hisviks and Gyllene have gifted me with their work. Thanks so much ladies!!! I have left spreadsheets to be loaded in those groups. If you want to help out by doing your stories… well there are pluses to this. I find I just upload the spreadsheets. If you are kind enough to give me all the information, I am going to load the entire thing into the database. Not just the stories I read. Just saying… So if you write in fandoms, (and no they don’t have to be TB/SVM they are just what I am going after first.) here is a glimpse of what I am using again. There are additional fields in the database for other fandoms and places I go to read their stuff… But they are cut out of the picture for now.
And if you don’t read California Kat… Why the heck not? She is stupendous.. (and gave me the easiest way to load the rest of the one shots into here!) She is also the one who convinced me that telling you guys what I am doing may generate help. Right now, I go into the sites, and have to look for the completed date, and or the last update (for the awards next month, no worries if you didn’t update until later, I verify any non-completed again, but for those who updated in the period of time, well….that is one less step for me to check on!). For WordPress that often means I am looking at the first comment since there is often no other way to get the date. This all takes time, and ironically, Fanfiction (the one I try to find other alternatives to link you guys to) is the easiest one to get the information from. I do not even have to leave the author pages!
If you want to help me out, contact me. I will be happy to send the spreadsheet and save me some work. (I know doing EricIzMine’s is going to be a lot of work. But dang it the lady deserves to be here!!! I reread her stuff all the time!)
I am also… *looks sheepish* getting lots of stories to be adding to the non-canon awards for reviewing. I am right now working on Carol E. Stewarts Preemptive Strike. My life is sooo hard. Read stories and then let you guys know what I think of them. All the while, getting me revved up to write away on ITE when I get back to fanfiction. Full Time.
I say Full Time since I am being pummeled by my muse with an idea. The betas are going gaga all over it, and last night I had an idea I am waiting on Miss 4Padfoot to get home to see if it can be done. *rubs hands gleefully* Since we all know no writing makes Kittyinaz a sad kitty… Well, we gotta keep the muse happy right? She has been rebelling this week (and how I know she talks that other side of my brain into her plans) wanting to write the next section. I think she even has Fate on her side. If Tuesday is any indication, and today, she very well might!

I am able to act on them if she would do them other times. Duh! And it is not like I don’t!

I am off to work on other things, and making sure that the chapter for HP tomorrow is ready. The Facebook group has had this chapter and will know the chapter for tomorrow before you guys get the posts. I like to reward my ladies who follow me over there. And you guys get the chapters 2 or more weeks before the other sites. Well except TWCS, but there is a secret weapon in their arsenal. Also I reminded myself of a thing I need to go back and replace some backgrounds for the new Character banners. Duh!

Now please remember, that all these stories are only edited to what I had written in my files until I started the database. There are a few stories for me to work on when I am done with the database. Dying has two more chapters for me to work on, then there is Clocks and Best that need to be worked on.
And… umm…well. I had a need to write to get over something that happened, and so I did. Something new. The betas are going gaga over it, and I have no idea where I am going with it. But I cannot wait for a certain part that the muse came up with last night. I just have to write until then.
Think of it this way, there are stories being moved from the Coming Soon to Active, so I had to put something down there right? *sheepish look*
Back to this story.
This story came up 2 years ago when my mom had gone into surgery for her breast cancer. She was bored, not able to do anything afterwards, and before I left for AZ (with her blessing since there was much more going on) so I would go over to my cousin’s house to entertain her while she was recovering from the surgery.
She was asking questions about the stories I was working on, and wanted to know how I came up with ideas. I told her I had an idea, one that has LoTR and Twilight (Bella) that I dreamed. She wanted me to tell her, so I started this story. I spent days sitting in a chair just telling her this story, and she was frankly amazed. I told her the muse usually starts me with information, and from there I expand it. She requested a few things, one that Jensen Ackles be in it, and that I write it up for her. I also added one element on my own after the Hobbit came out. Blame my parents and their obsession with MI6!
Unfortunately, when I got to Arizona, All I Want came out, but I did write enough of this to come back to it. Since then, I seem to work more on editing and not writing, which is why I am changing things up. But I am finally getting around to publishing this. Since I really have little chapters for it, I may make it every other week, depending how this week ends up and your response. I think there are 5 chapters for this one so far, but we are looking at EPIC people.
So here is the story I dedicate to my mother, and her brave (and successful!) fight against cancer as my small contribution to combat the boredom afterwards.
Description: Things go differently for Bella when Edward leaves, and after college, she leaves to travel through the mountains. Imagine when she wakens to a whole new world that only had been hinted at in a book that is regarded as fantasy.
