Ok.. I have been missing online since Friday. That is because we have a new addition to the Kittyinaz family.
It is way too small to determine if it is male or female for sure. M made the executive motion to her it a she, since that is his guess what it is. I was going to name her Smokey, but Stormy has been coming off my tongue after spending a couple days with her.
She is adorable, and you should see her with Connor. His head is bigger than her. And he is Papa Connor. He is watching over her, as well as being shocked when she comes up and bites him. He looks so shocked that you guys would fall over laughing. And he is keeping a healthy distance from her paws. Now, when I say that, remember the size difference, and you will laugh at how funny it is and keeping a safe distance is lifting his head out of her range. At least he thinks so, she can jump!
The first couple of days of owning any pet is very important to the bonds that they make. I am spending as much time as possible with her, and you can tell the difference. On the first night, she spent time with both M and I. Since that night, she has come to sleep by or on me each night. Since she is no bigger than my palm, well you get the idea.
Even though this is far from my first rodeo, she managed to get me all worried by not drinking. I slowly gave her 2% milk, then 1% then water. My mom laughed and said she would have been fine, but over 24 hrs without water worried me! And then was kitty litter training. I tried the professionals instructions, but when I did my version of them, it worked. Boo-ya! Follow my own instincts!
So it has been a very tired time. I swear. Anyone who tries to tell me pets are not children. Well you never get as involved with them as I do. Cause getting up in the middle of the night, check. Worrying about them? check. Trying to remember when you last got a full night of sleep? Check. Playing and attacking you when you are trying to read, check. And double check. Even a triple check. She likes the taste of the iPad I think.

For stories. This week will start me editing the other stuff, after I work on the novel. I am hoping to get a few things done, but no promises. Remember, new Kitten. Right now she is crying pitifully in the bedroom, as I give Connor and Murphy some time with mommy in the office. They are taking turns on being at my feet. Luckily they are curious more than anything right now.
I have two more chapters of Dying to Start to do, then Clocks. and then Best, before I start editing Sacred. No sex, at all, and I am close to chapter 30. This is slow moving, but I am trying to move it faster!
Hope to see you guys later with updates on chapters. All my plans were blown out by getting the kitten this past weekend, (She is 6 weeks old, but outside, so I was glad to have her!) so where I planned to work all weekend to be ready for her next weekend, well. Yeah.
Just to let you guys know, the week of June 21-28 will be me on vacation. My Mother in Law is coming into Houston for training. She is taking the whole week off to spend time with us, so I am not sure how much I will be online during that time. And of course, when I am on vacation, I tell my beta’s they are too.
C-ya guys later, I need to try to get things done before noon my time, so I can get the kitten out of the room, and in here so I can have some peace from her meowing. (Of course then I will have a kitten climbing up my leg.. but one thing at a time!)
Unfortunately, I don’t have enough on my desk to look like I am working. I hate moving to a paperless environment. It is cleaner, but hell, there is nothing to look like I am working on things! (shh on the whole I am working at home, and this is my ‘job’!)

I am writing up a bunch of reviews right now for that site, and when I finished the first one, WordPress decided that I really didn’t mean to write that. And since I did the main part between autosaves, well I basically have to start over.
Ugh.
Then after that I will be working on the Lotr Post for today.
I still have the database to work on, and to be truthful, it is beyond boring to work on. But… I will say miss 4Padfoot has a great idea on it. She is working on it in secret with little teasers to me. With what she is doing, the Crossover site is on pause, but then it was anyways until I get the database done.
This last week saw me put on my old Database maker hat, and it was a little dusty.. OK a lot dusty. But I managed to wrest it in partial shape, and I made a form, that will allow me to add authors and so forth so much easier. Which helps, since adding authors is not as easy as it should be, but to be truthful, the end results are beautiful. I have one form and can do everything with it. *sighs*. I know only another techy person would be like this.
So here is where we are. I need the sites, and I need to finish adding all of Fanfiction to the database. Well not ALL of it, but the rest of the 658 favorites. I will admit, this will take awhile for me to come back and go through my follows to see who all belongs to the favorites after this. If I didn’t have Sacred to turn to, I would be a gibbering idiot. Wait… I already am. dang.
Authors, I cannot help but ask again for your help. Seriously. I am getting burned out, but I want to finish this up, so when I turn to writing again, I will be caught up, and your stories will get lovings. Seriously. And we all want me back to writing right? I will say I am looking forward to getting the last of the edits out of the way and just writing what I feel like for a long period of time…….

And yes. 2 days until I switch from editing to the database. I am planning to use it to help me out during the You Want Blood Awards. So I want the TB/SVM up to date as soon as possible. So to make sure I have time (Since this past week was a perfect example why waiting to the last minute is bad) I am going to work on it starting then, and then when I finish, I should be back to working on the little I have left to edit…
I am stuck on the biggest chapter ever written by me on FanFiction. It is a chapter for Revelations, and over 15K closer to16K words. It is a pivotal chapter, as well as the most asked for chapter for that story. After this I think I have 2 or 3 chapters left for that one.
Last week nothing got done, there had been a family emergency that turned out to be a God blessing. Everything turned out better than it should have been, but it had been a stressful week that I am only now coming down from. But I am back to working now!!!
One of my betas, Ms Potter, just picked up Game of Life to be done. She is reading it now to get an idea, then will be working on it to beta.
KHoltz is doing an fabulous job with Tin Man, she is way ahead of where I am right now. I have a lot to post!
My other betas have done an awesome job as well. There is a Harry Potter chapter I need to publish, as well as the LoTR to start publishing. I admit, I have gotten behind with everything going on, but this is good news to you guys, since this means I have chapters to begin posting while I am doing the database. I will be taking time to move my stories over to the FanFiction Affliction site also. Technical side of everything. Using that other side of the brain instead of the one I use now to create things.
And hopefully I will be done, so I can finish the novels, and then get back to the part you guys want, (as well as me!) writing all these stories!
So I am off to work on that chapter, and I am hoping that I will get done with Revelations completely before the15th. And keep an eye on things, since I will be posting things more often while I am working on the database with all the copying and pasting I will be doing….Oh joy!

Yep, I hate to say it, but this is the last of the chapters for the All I Want story. I know the title of the next one will be All This Time. But…..IHaven’tStartedIt.
Yeah. I didn’t expect the editing to take this long!!!! No more just editing after this. I need to write not just take story after story and edit. It is killing me. So I was told to take a week off, and then this week I am writing the Mummy/Twilight story. I wrote 2 chapters in one night. And as soon as I can get back to it, I will be writing the rest. And yes… there is a thread started on it in Facebook. They get the second chapter tonight.
Plus this coming months will be busy, I will be stopping in April one way or the other, to get ready for the You Want Blood Awards. I HAVE to finish the database. No and, ifs or buts. So we will be stopping, and then I will continue after that. And the Mummy story will be put to the end of that mess coming up.
