While ALL the banners were a thrill to make. (I got to play!!!) I will say the doll on Little Doll was my favorite. I went looking for hours and getting lost in Porcelain Doll Faces to find the one above. The Grinch was fun, but the first three tries to do a Grinch type background worthy, was a complete fail. Twelve Days of Christmas was a trial until I hit upon on the idea of fading the Swan Lake into the parchment. All I Want for Christmas was just pure fun!!! Thanks ladies for your awesome stories, and thanks American Android for the manips, they truly inspired me!
And with that done, I had a dilemma. I needed this months idea. So while I found a quote that appealed to me, I did this one instead. Actually I had three quotes, but they were all too soon from the last ones that are mentioned. So you get this pic that captured my interest. I have a lot of these I put in a folder to have me look at later.

This past year has had many things happen for me and the site. The number one is that we moved over to this site. Thanks to everyone for your patience as we did that. We have been busy doing family things, but hopefully this coming year we can explore options and work on getting things even better for this place. I really want the ads to work for all of us!
A huge thank you to my Betas. They make this all possible. Huge thanks to our new ladies, you guys have started to teach me more. I really appreciate it. If you want to join these awesome ladies, please contact me on Facebook. We are looking for experienced betas to be able to hit the ground working. I have about 23 stories who are active, and my muse still likes to drop more on me. From there I talk with the Betas, and we decide from there.
My team behind the scenes, Rissa, Robin and Gyllene, thanks so much for all you guys do!!! Without you three, I would be staring at the screen, trying to transition from writer to tech side. While I could do it, I’m so glad I don’t have to. And Rissa….There are no words to thank you for all the stuff you do!! This site has had over 600K of hits, and this particular has had over 150K. hits on it. Wow!!!! You guys have supported us with all the plagiarism, and your help has taken down the person who did it to one of my friends.
We have had some awesome responses to the Writing Challenges. It has helped some new writers get started, and it has also given birth to other stories. One of them inspired me on one of the One Shots!
Your patience overall through the bad times and the good times has helped. I am truly thankful to stumbled onto such great readers! You give me the confidence to work on my own novel and hope that it does well enough.

Thanks for helping make our first You Want Blood Awards such a huge success! We are planning for it the new year’s in May, so be thinking of who you want to nominate. The rules will be slightly different, so be looking for that news coming in the new year.
Also thanks so much for taking a chance with me on the new crossovers and so forth I have come up. Nothing has been abandoned, but my muse seems to enjoy bringing up new ideas.
All in all, we love your interest, and thanks to you, these sites are up and running.
So what does the new year hold for us? Well the Banner above should give a hint of what I am going to try to get to!!
As soon as all the written chapters are off to the betas, I will be working directly on getting my rough draft for my novel out for the betas to all tell me what they think as well as the proofreaders. After that, I plan on finishing In The End, and then to work on Edge and continue from there. Since I am planning on doing things a little different all around, I am hoping that these chapters will be turning around quickly.
Remember, writing is always evolving, especially when you are me. I like to be better and often work towards this. I am trying something new with the new Charmed story, and it is working well. I may end up sitting down and working on putting all the ideas for the story in their journals, that way I can make sure we end up where I want, while giving my muse the freedom outlines didn’t.
And because of my plans, I am actually worried about overloading my betas, since many of them beta for others, as well as write themselves. I fully encourage them to write, and to do their thing. so I want to make sure they have the time to do all they need to. They do this all for free, and I don’t’ want them to feel obligated to do my stuff instead of them. Ask any of them, I am real insistent on their lives come before my stories.
I am also planning to work harder on my rec lists, to get them done and in the database. I am working on SVM/TB soon, since the You Want Blood Awards will be kicking in soon.
I also plan to work on all the obligations I have, like the Non-Canon Awards and so on. RL came in and while nowhere as bad as the past two years, it still kicked my butt.
For me personally, I am planning on balancing my work and my family. I am so very lucky to be married to my husband, who fully supports me doing this, and only has asked for me to concentrate on working on my novel. He gives and gives, and I love him for it. I wish to plan to keep up what we have been doing this past month, and spend time in the evenings together. Though he completely understands the need to write or make banners.
I do not do resolutions, since I hate failing at anything, and often have set so high of plans, I fail and beat myself up about it. So I plan to do better. I wish to get healthier, which has worked. I have been less sick than normal this year, now if my body will stop tearing stuff, I would be awesome!!!
I plan on drinking more water type stuff. Since I don’t drink water except when excising, I am planning on more tea and soda stream stuff. Especially the tea, for Christmas, I took all the gift cards and money sent to me and got myself a tea maker. This things does everything BUT add the water and tea to it. It keeps it warm, it heats up the water to the right temperatures and so on. Right now with my tooth aching so much, the warm tea helps so much. And to do nothing more than those two steps, well it helps. I’m thinking of getting another blackboard for my mom, to write down the recipes I am coming up with. the Tea Blog will be brought back up so I can experiment with the tea maker to make the blends. Right temperature of water helps so much!
We are getting a fence, so I also plan to spend some time each day with the dogs. Throwing a ball training, whatever. And hopefully, this year we can do a garden again. So many plans, but for the first time, I am having the energy to do it all. I also plan to go back to the gym, the trip to Las Vegas is a go, and I want to be able to keep up with everyone! Gotta look good for those pics!
All in all, thank you for a wonderful year, and as you can see, I have plenty of plans for the next year. Now I am going to go off to my drug haze, and be with my hubs.

Also, the only person who knows who wrote what, besides the authors of course, is Rissa. She strips the stories of anything that tells me who they are, so I am completely unbiased, nor do I have any ideas of who is winning. This is cause if need to be, I will vote for the stories to break any ties. It’s early, and you guys can vote more than once, if you figure out the trick. So far we have had 94 votes per Poll Daddy when I just checked it.

I had an episode with WalMart that made a five minute trip into a 5 hour trip. I was even humming Gilligan’s Island to myself while in the checkout line for an hour. MamaKittyinaz was laughing at me.
Lesson learned: never go shopping with MamaKittyinaz when you have baking to do.
But she made up for it, she helped out with cookie making, she put the cookies in the oven, rolled them in sugar and did all that stuff, while I kept making stuff.
It took two days but here is all the treats that the people who got the results of my baking frenzy:

And then I got sick yesterday. I’m feeling better, but not a 100%. But I have wrapping to do, which only I can do.. long story. (Which by the time I am posting this I finished with… 15 minutes to spare.) And my hubs is ready to help as well clean house. I am drinking copious amounts of tea since it has helped in the past. and I need to prep for tomorrow’s dinner.
This is all to explain, that while I have the stories ready to be read, no banners have been made. I will make them when I get the chance!!!!

For those of you who are cooks, we have a excellent site called Kittyinaz’s Group Food Blog. It has recipes and the admin of the site, Megan, had been doing an awesome job of showcasing the abilities of the site with her 25 days of Christmas recipes. Click on the banner to go to it. You will need to sign up for the emails. But it is awesome, and when the Kraft Site went down on thanksgiving eve, I used that one instead.
Don’t forget the Christmas Carols Contest that is coming up due soon!! My one shot is out being checked over for content. I was inspired halfway through it, and am waiting approval to use it. Remember, it just has to be a fandom I used. I will be changing the wording on the official rules from now on. Sorry for the misunderstanding! I am ending it early so that we can get the banners done and the readers can read the stories before Christmas!
I am getting officially into the OMG it’s almost Christmas. I got the Christmas Cards sent out, with a few trickling out from ones being received. Tomorrow starts the bake off, and then I will be wrapping, baking and so on. I will be going out to get supplies, and unfortunately, the cleaning elves will be coming in first then I will be baking. Ah well. Cookies and treats are important right?!!?
My list of cookies and treats?!?! Snickerdoodles, No Bakes, Smore’s cookies, Cap’n crunch bars, Banana Bread, Pumpkin Pie, Butter Cookies (Which are not your normal, these are made with oatmeal and coconut), Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, (Yes my hubs requested just dough) Chocolate chip cookies, Peanut butter covered pretzels, macaroons, a Meringue Cooke Meridian told me about, Turtle Brownies, Peanut Butter cookies, Hershey Kiss Cookies and whatever else I see when I am going through making my list (and checking it twice!) tonight.
A lot of those are on the food blog. I make them each year, and the food blog is easy for me to use my iPad for the recipes. I can sit it up high and use the recipes with it.
My reblog page is picking up people, if you want to see what I am reading in the WordPress world, that is the place to go. I often get out the sites all day long if I am on the computer, but after I certain part, I get off, and catch up in the morning.
I’ve added some banners to the Adopt a Banner page for adoption. I trolled Pinterest last night, and it gave me ideas. LOL!!!! Go check them out! Also, if you have claimed a banner from me, but have not named the story so it is still under the adopt portion, please contact me. I just want to make sure the Banner is remembered by you to claim.
I’m off to work some, send off requests for quotes on fences and so on. Yes, we are refencing the back yard finally. Seems Murphy and Connor play to the point we are untangling the leads everyday multiple times. Potty training took a nose dive today, it’s wet and rainy outside. Murphy hates it so he refuses to go outside. He is finding out what it means to make me mad, I ignore him. It seems to work better than anything else. Another Connor.
I hoped to be further along in Dying, I have 8 pages of it’s journal written for the ideas, and I have used page 1 & 2 so far.
It’s one sided, since I use the other side for notes on changes I am making as I write. We will see how this goes. I am now looking for fencing quotes for the backyard.. I have a big back yard. Yikes!
I hope I will be able to write something soon for you guys to enjoy the Christmas One Shot. I am off to finish the current chapter I am working of Dying. And to do other stuff. Like clean floors from muddy dogs….
