So we are down to the end, I am sooo much hoping. 6 stories folks. That is all I have to do until I am free to work on the rec database, and to also get ready to work on my own original fiction.
I am excited, since I haven’t been writing anything new, just editing the crap out of stuff I have already written. And it taught me a valuable lesson, don’t get so far behind!!! I know why it happened, I was trying to finish stories before publishing them, but the group in Facebook ixnayed that one.
I am actually happy on that, since I seem to work better when you guys are so nice to tell me what you think. I know I am so very inspired to get back to writing for a lot of the stories.
Also, I need to say again, my beta team rocks!! As I mentioned before, they are all awesome, and they have jobs, and or write in addition to that, and somehow have time for little ole me. Yes, I am continuously surprised that you guys read me. Seriously. I like my stories, but never in my wildest daydreams did I think you guys would.

So, the beta for Tin Man is almost done with the edits, and next week in fact, will be the last of the published chapters. After that we will be publishing new chapters until we catch up to where I was. Then it will be up to what the muse has for me.

I finished with all but Fictionpad’s updates, and that is only because they are down. So I can finally get back to the chapter I have been trying to edit for three days. And it is simple. Just a pair of dogs that have been a pain in my ass has been holding up the production. They seem to think that 2 chewies a day thing is flexible. So they nudge me all day long until they finally get the idea that no, they are not going to get more. They get one at night and one during the day.
No worries, they have bones everywhere and so on. They are spoiled rotten.
I am off to work on chapters, and hopefully send a bunch to Mknue, then I can move on to Dying to Start Again, since the beta has been ready for it. Then Clocks… maybe with a ITE break? We will see!!!!

Yep. It seems I needed to get a couple things done today, a chapter was ready for Harry Potter, and Mr. Kittyinaz worked. Add to that I went to the gym since Friday is Grandma day, well you get a break in everything.
Not that I won’t take a day off, it just probably will be tomorrow. Hmm sleeping in with no one in the house, and not needing to get up for any reason? Heaven! Now we just have to get the dogs to agree.

Glad you asked!! I finished the edits for Tin Man!!!! The only thing left is when the beta sends me chapters on the published stuff, and then I will be adding the banners so that everyone will know which chapters have been edited. I am doing something new. On the February Writing Challenge page, please comment which story banner you think is the best. Why am I doing this? Cause I spend a lot of time doing these. The banners took me two days to make, and each is individual to the story the are for. To be blunt, these are some of the best ones I have made. Maybe I need to get sick more often when I make them?
The winning banners will be given a ribbon also to show your favorites. I will let you guys figure out what to do with it. Judge on how they fit the story, the most artistic, whatever you want. Have fun with it. I had mine playing with them!

There is one. Yes, one TB/SVM, one Inuyasha, one Alice 2009, one Harry Potter and 2 Originals (aka TVD). This is a varied cast, and caused me to dive into Google for images left and right. I will say Photoshop and I had an argument on His Boots. I have to go back on that one and recreate it. Won’t be hard, but I admit Photoshop was sneaky and erased the original file that has the details on it, while leaving me the jpeg.

Here is the deal. We go in a system. Quotes, songs, pics. Repeat. We had ALL of the carols for Christmas being done for songs last time, we had the lady in the lake pic, and the quote last time. This time is a song. The song is Feel Again by OneRepublic. For those that know me, you know I love this group. But since I cannot figure out what story will get the song, since they all want it, I figured if it inspires me so much, then it can inspire you guys.
What do you have to do? Be inspired by the song. Listen to it, and if possible, drop a line from the song into the story. If you can’t work it in, then that is fine. As normal now, any fandom I write in, you can use.

Good News.. We are getting to where a lot of your answers will be coming your way. The bad news? There are 25 chapters to this story. So with Chapter 21 today, we are reaching the end of this one.
Yeah, the Harry Potter is a day late. But we are not a dollar short as I mention above!
I guess I will say Friday-Saturday for the posts. A lot of time it is my fault. Especially this week. My hubs took me out Thursday and Then I spend the day with my Grandmother on Friday, with the night being whatever we are up to.
Last night we had dog crates since Murphy has vastly outgrown his crate. (Yeah!!!) He is growing still, so I highly doubt his 9 months age that we were given.. he is taller than Connor! He is running or rather hopping around the house still. It is awesome. Truly.
While we were out, I fell in love with a grey/white cat in PetsMart. I am working on Mr. Kittyinaz. For those that know me, Morgan went missing the day we found Murphy. No sign of her anywhere. Tucker is missing her as well as Connor and I. But I saw this kitty, and I want her so much. I wondered if she was playful, and as if understanding what I said, she went sneaking through the playhouse and attacked the other kitties, tail. LOL!
Besides that, I greatly thank each and everyone of you for your messages. They helped, since for a long time I have been only receiving messages of please update this story. In fact, one of my ladies sent me a message, and the email under that was a request. For an update from another forum. It just made me laugh. I needed it, since if anyone who follows me, I haven’t been online much. My hubs told me to take a break. He has since learned of what happened that day for me to react finally, and admits there was a reason. Maybe not the best, but there was a reason. Though I have heard in many private messages that other writers are having the same issues. There is a limit on when that request for updates weigh in on people. It turns from a request to feeling like demands when they themselves may be stressed in RL. It happens to all of us. We are only human.
Just think about it when you say, please update soon, or can you please update this story? Maybe say, I really enjoy this story and look forward to when you have time to write another chapter? Just a suggestions. Again, it’s not just me having rough times, sadly, these times seem to weigh heavily on a lot of us.

LOL. I bet a lot of you who are new, are going WTF? Let me tell a little story. ITE, The Best, ED, You’re and so on started off as dreams. Many of my stories do, and depending how the muse is, depends on how many dreams I have on it.

Yep!!!! And the dream was not even close to what I had thought! I will warn people.. There is a part of the story I was shocked my brain came up with, but I will say that the title is very apt….
So when I finish up a bunch of housekeeping stuff on the site and getting some chapters ready for next week… I will be writing out that one so I don’t forget. No one minds right?
During this, my muse is being a very busy muse, thinking on the Original stuff, and throwing out ideas and such. I am looking forward to finishing editing. AS long as I have time…
One of the housekeeping deals is linking some stories to the challenge from last month, as well as some stories to the banners I have done in the Adopt a Banner page. I also have a Tin Man newly revised chapter to replace. I think we are getting close to the new stuff. I hope so!!!

This is not including all my other obligations. I review for the Non-Canon Awards, I am part of the team for You’ve Got Blood awards as well as I contribute to the Food Blog and maintain the Anthem of the Angels site and the reblog site. I also take one day a week and go through and update the other sites with the stories. I try to make sure the Kittyinaz Group on Facebook is interesting and end up having to play the calming influence. I also make banners and host writing contests. I also host a Rec page on this site that a lot of people still use enough that one page from that section is always in the top ten pages of the day. I try to be nice to everyone, and lately this has been backfiring in my face to the point I feel like it isn’t worth it.
For those that think I shouldn’t start stories, well, if I hadn’t nothing would have been written beyond Revelations and Tin Man. It was due to a very dear friend Faeregina, that had me come back to writing. I had even started What If during that bad time, and let me tell you, it is very depressing to read what I wrote in that time. I refuse to be that person, and to be frank, it was a bad time in my life.
I truly understand the frustration of not getting your stories updated. But I am one person, who is not getting paid to share these with you. I am doing it of my own free will. I am putting aside some obligations to make sure that all the chapters I have written are released to everyone before I work on other things. I am not obligated to write, I do it because I truly love to make up these stories. Your reviews are often what make me move forward. And if you really can see the results, you would be highly shocked on what would be updated if I could make my muse work when I tell her.
Writing comes easy to me, I can pound out a couple chapters in a day if the muse is working with me. But the editing can take me 2-4 days. Think of it as this, my writing is a rough draft, detailed, but rough. The editing is what most people would call writing. I also talked to my betas, and one of the ones that know me best, basically told me to go back to the old way. I was kicking out 2-3 chapter just editing obvious issues. But for those that have stuck with me awhile, I normally add 1-2k or more words to a chapter. I am back to doing that. It is not easy for me to edit, I have to read each chapter once to get the idea, then go back and add missing words and keep going over it until it feels right.
My husband has supported all of this, but he has put his foot down. I need to work on the original novels. If need be, I will stop everything to work on them. I have few chapters and stories left to do, but I will and can just stop and leave you guys to wait until the novel(s) are done. If the muse is willing to work with me and I can write more than the one, then I will be going through and working on as many as I can.
I cannot tell you the stuff going on in RL. It involves more than just me, and it is a mess. It is highly stressful and not something easy for any family to deal with. It is more important than anything else going on, and it started yesterday. This is my outlet, my way to deal with the stuff.
And then there are the wonderful group of ladies I call my betas. The ones I can rely upon to listen, and who try so very hard to get to the chapters I am working on. They have their own jobs, their own lives and even their own fiction they write. I never nor will I ever demand them to put it all to the side for my stuff. I release the chapters to them, but will NEVER demand them to work on anything. It’s not my place.
There is the Banner making I do to help relieve the stress of writing. I used someone’s comment to work on a banner for them to relieve stress before I wrote this. And then slept, cleaned house, and even cooked, and couldn’t just release this from just being written and never stating how I feel.
Please be patient, I know there are people who want updates, and you would be shocked at what the numbers would tell me to update, if I went by them alone. Instead I am going by what the muse lets me do. I am working on stuff, just be patient.
And again, this is not everyone. Not by far, but imagine being asked every single day when I am going to post something, or please work on these stories. It gets wearing and makes me feel like sometimes people think of me being a robot. That I just churn out chpaters easily. I try my hardest to make each and every story interesting to anyone who reads. I have asked for betas since I know I am no where perfect and make common mistakes. I don’t want to overwhelm who I have, so I mention I am doing this story, they read it and if someone wants it, they tell me. That it how the process works. I tell you guys more of what is going than most people, just so you guys understand what is going on. To allow you to know I am alive. I could just say blah, blah chapter is ready for you to read. And leave it only there. However, I understand being frustrated with not knowing when my story that I like is going to be updated.
Before posting this, I had a long talk with a few friends. And they told me their thoughts. Some were shocked, and told me they just love when their writers updated. They make sure to say thank you for sharing a piece of themselves. Others who are writers shook their heads. And yet others pointed out that at least people love the stories. All of these are correct. In fact, I have told myself the same many times. However, again, I am stating to feel that I am being thought of as a machine who can churn out stuff. With my stress in my life being so high, I just want to come into my office and work on my stories and escape for awhile.
I am off to add the chapters to the other sites, then hopefully, I can finish a chapter that I have been trying to work on since Saturday.

So, hopefully when you get this, I will be back home, but in case I am not, I am writing this early. The beta is hard at work at the chapter, and when she is done with it, I will be publishing it. Since I have NO idea how to get a link for it before it is published, I will have to rely on someone else to do that for me.
So what else is going on? I think I told you that I have a beta for the LOTR stuff, and once I am done here, I will be looking over the submission from another beta for the Charmed one. I am looking forward to this, since the lady thinks she will be mean. pshew… They haven’t met Meridian or MistressJessica! Those ladies are tough on me, and I love every moment of it!
I am looking through a book and will be doing ‘homework’ while I am gone. Not long, just some RL drama we are trying to fix. But I am doing my share to help. I also had a scare yesterday, seems we might have poison Ivy in the backyard, and I was highly allergic. Like so bad Doctors were legitimately scared I might die. I remember being miserable. And I had to deal with it year after year… Ugh. Hate is a slight word. And when my hubs saw something that looked like it, I was sent inside immediately. Once everything is worked out, they will be going through and trying to get rid of the stuff. You can’t burn it, cause that is how we found I was being infected. So they (The males of the family) will be going through it and pulling it up. Ugh. I hate the stuff with a passion, but we have to worry about the dogs running through it once the fence is up.
I am such trouble.
Otherwise, everything has been going great. I am working on Tin Man, have two chapters of that left, big chapters, but only two. Then I will be working on the Revelations. That should be easy, the beta sent me all the chapters, I am just going through and answering or rewording things. After that I will see how my betas are doing, and seeing which of Clocks or Dying to Start Again will be worked on. Almost there. Already thinking of my story and going over ideas.

Less than a week for the submissions in the February Writing Contest! I am divided on the songs, since that is the next one for you guys. I had a lot of information on pictures, and agreed on a choice. So we are good to go for a little while. I can’t see what people got for us this time!!!!
Amazon is a real helper. We are awaiting the downfall from December to hit my account so that we can add music to the chapters. I will keep with the MP3 player on the side in case any want to buy the songs. I have been told you can add them to iTunes. I know I did it once for a CD from Trading Yesterday. So it can be used for anything.
