Ok, if you are surprised by this, then you have been living under a rock, or just don’t know me that well. This is where I started. My first fanfic was published under the genre, and I only found it because I was looking on YouTube. I found it and was very much interested in the love story between the two. After much hunting, my hubby and I found it at Best Buy for me to watch. I fell in love. Because of this, I watched Primeval. I just don’t think I can do much there since the research I would do would drive me nuts. But I do follow Andrew Lee Potts and watch anything with him in it, unless it is under Horror.
Here is to the ladies who helped me out. That genre welcomed me with open arms, and to this day, if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be here still writing. They helped me through my first and second and third rejection of my stories from Twilighted. They are still there and hoping I finish the stories I was writing. And I will! But below are some ladies who really helped and deserve some credit.
Brumier’s Wake Up was the first story I read that really made me think, What If? And I happened to end reading it while listening to What If by Safety Suit. That was that as the story goes. I got to know the lady well. She is an awesome writer and her Songs for Wonderland contains some dedications to me. Her support of me during a trying time helped immensely.
Alaina Downs’s Firsts was my introduction to her and as one of my reviewers. She became the Beta that helped me redo Alice and Hatter. Her patience is what helped me become the writer I am today. She helped with Tea Shoppe and all I can say is awesome woman.
TardisintheSGC was my very first Beta. Awesome!! She helped me out and encouraged me. She was the first person to help, and I still talk to her today. I cannot do some dedications without including her, since she was the first one to say, “I’ll help you.”
Hattie aka Duchess Faleen…. All I can say about her is FREAKING AWESOME!! She is still a friend and offers to read anything I write and supports me. She sends me motivation, even when she doesn’t like the series or my blonde men. But she did thank me for sending her a pic of Alcide. lol. She is also my miracle finder of anything I need. She is the one who found the next to impossible pic of Cain riding a horse.
